Thanks for trying out the game! I added the helicopter locomotion for an extra "actiony" feel to the game, but there are definitely some issues with it 😂. I've been working on the Unity project to restrict the climbing and make the helicopter easier to climb while throwing the briefcase, so hopefully this will fix the issue.

Thanks! I wanted the player to feel like James Bond 😎

Thanks for taking the time to try my game! I can totally see where the climbing system can be a bit finicky, so I'll work on adjusting some values a bit to make it easier to climb.

Thanks for giving the game a try! The throwing definitely has its issues, as I didn't have enough time to set a specific grab point on the briefcase. Also, I totally see how the game is a little too difficult, so I've been working in Unity to make it a bit easier :)

Thanks again for the good feedback!

Thanks for trying my game out! I totally agree that the game is a bit too hard, and I've already made some adjustments in Unity that makes the drones spawn less often and the briefcase throw faster. I'm also working on an indicator that a drone has spawned behind the player, which should hopefully eliminate some of the difficulty as well.

It means a lot that one of the jam hosts tried out my game, so thanks again!

Thanks for your feedback! I chose a throwing mechanic because all of my previous games have been shooters, and I wanted to practice making something different. I'll work on making the throwing a little more polished so it doesn't ruin the fun.

No problem, I had a good time trying out your game :)

Thanks for trying out the game! I'll definitely do some work on making the game a bit easier :)

I totally agree, the game should be a little easier. I'll make sure to tweak the enemy spawning/fire rates for the next version of the game. Also, the returning briefcase is supposed to kill enemies, but every once in a while the briefcase will be moving to fast to trigger the kill.

Thanks for the great feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

Very fun game! I like having to use all of the different machines, and all of the game mechanics/graphics are very polished. My only complaint is it can be really difficult to figure out if an object needs repair.

Great story, and I love the concept of delivering a person, very creative :)

A few problems I encountered:

- The wire cutters would collide with the player and cause me to move around the map

- In the menu scene, I kept slowly sinking into the ground

- The moving spotlight didn't seem to do anything despite me being spotted by it a couple times

Other than those few things, pretty fun game!

You definitely get points for creativity! This game was actually very fun to play, I just wish it was a bit longer.

Thanks for trying it out! The briefcase throwing definitely takes some getting used to, so I'll have to make some improvements to make it a bit easier.

I like how you have to keep an eye on furnace and airlock levels, as this added a lot of pressure/suspense to the game.  I just wish the game was a little harder :)

Fun game! I just wish there was a way to reverse.

I love the way you explained the game through the holographic messages! Definitely one of my favorite games so far!

Same issue here, the Quest version crashes as soon as it starts.

I loved the frog screaming and acidic dodecahedron mechanics, as it really added a lot to the game! Also, the ice/fire crystal sound effects were really satisfying :)

I really enjoyed using all of the different devices to control the drone, and I loved all of the creative names! My only complaint was the low FPS on Quest 2 (around 12 FPS), but other than that, fun game!

Same thing happened to me, the game opened up in 2D. I've had this problem before, and it usually has to do with some settings in the "XR Plugin Management" settings. My guess is either the "initialize XR on startup" is unchecked, or maybe you checked "OpenVR" or "OpenXR" instead of "Oculus" under the android tab.

I love the locomotion method you used, as I haven't really seen it in a VR game before!

I was able to download the APK after a couple tries, and the game was actually pretty fun. I just wish it was more obvious to throw the beverages at the tables, as it took me a couple minutes to figure this out.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game as much as I enjoyed making it :)

I liked the concept and movement, I just struggled with steering the moped. Every once in a while, the steering would get stuck, and I would have to let go and re-grab the moped to be able to steer again.

(1 edit)

I got the same error when installing the APK

UPDATE: I was finally able to get it to download after trying a couple more times

I re-downloaded the game, and the issue was fixed! The graphics and UI was well polished, and the gameplay was simple but addicting. Besides the occasional crash, it's a pretty fun game!

Interesting idea! I'll have to look into that.

I really liked the glowy, futuristic look of the game, and all of the mechanics ran very smooth.

Here's some advice:

1. Add some sort of particle effect to the pickup items to make them easier to spot.

2. Add some text at the barrier at the end that explains to the player why they can't enter the final room (i.e. they haven't collected all of the items yet).

Other than that, the game looked and felt better than a lot of the submissions I've played so far, so good job!

Thanks for taking the time to give me such great feedback! I'm glad you liked the concept and look of the game :)

Throwing the briefcase accurately definitely takes some practice, so I'll try to add some sort of aim assist to make the game a bit easier.

It happened on the APK version. I'll re-download the game tomorrow and I'll let you know if the same thing happens.

Thanks for giving the game a try :)

I can totally see how the helicopter would get in the way of the throwing mechanic, so I'll have to change the locomotion system a bit, and maybe restrict where the player can climb. Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for trying out the game! The throwing mechanic definitely takes some getting used to, so I'll have to try implementing some sort of aim assist in the future.

That's a great score! Better than most of the people that have played the game so far 😂

I really wanted to add some sort of aim assist, but I realized it would take too much time to implement. Also, I tried creating precise grab points for the briefcase, but it was causing some weird bugs, and I had to take it out in the end. I really appreciate the detailed feedback, and I'll try to add in both these features as well as make the game a bit easier :)

Thanks for playing! I'll have to work on the balancing a little more to make it a bit easier.

Fun game! I like the climbing mechanics, as I haven't really seen them used before. I just wish that the line that shows up to grab the blue dots would always show, as I had a hard time positioning my hands to grab the dots without it.

The idea behind this game is so nostalgic and genius! Everything worked well, and the graphics looked pretty good. The APK did have a very low frame rate (around 8 FPS), but it's really hard to fix that without a Quest to playtest it on.

I don't know if this is just me, but the game only rendered on my right eye, not the left. However, this did add an interesting challenge to the game!

The pistol reloading is really well done! Also, I love the addition of the hats.

The idea behind this game is super creative, and the game feels very polished. Also, I love the intro!

I love the Valem video at the beginning 😂
