Very cool! Very thematic
Beautiful map and design, well put together in terms of content and theory. I'll echo the other players concern about the monster stat levels not being aligned with their level, but that's an easy fix with some play time and experience. Very well done, clean layout.
Those maps are really awesome!
Thanks for putting monsters on a page and rooms next to descriptions. I love that practicality!
Clean layout. Love the mini maps.
Nice layout. The maps are especially cool. The stats are off in some odd ways (high lv with very low HP, enemies that automatically run away if you wave a torch at them, Far movement instead of double near).
Admittedly, I have never actually played Shadowdark. I rely on Chatbots for the formatting of the statblocks, so balance might have gone out the window. I would love to play it, thrice, and create some better Statblocks.
Woah, those maps are next level. I could use those diagrams to safely exit the building in the case of an emergency XD Very nice!
Woah, yourself, you are clearly a professional zine-ist! It means a lot looking at your own work:)
Really good stuff man! I really enjoy the roleplay insinuations of the 'steal breath' attack by the monks. Having a player resort to sign language and miming at the table is awesome. Good mix of enemies and threats, and I really love how you draw your maps in the kind of isometric style. It really brings the dungeon to life in 3D space. Keep it up!
Thanks alot! I must give credit to Dungeon Dads 5e kurobozu statblock, fully lifted it from there:
Steal Breath.
A kurobozu can steal breath from a creature that is stunned, paralyzed, or asleep. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or suffer 1 level of exhaustion. Regardless of whether the target was successful on the saving throw, it can’t speak for 1 minute and its breath reeks of carrion. This also exposes the target to the kurobozu’s black apoxia disease.
Great dungeon! Love the isometric maps to add verticality to the exploration spaces. Map accompanying the section is also a super technology that all modules should adopt~
I was so afraid of Max 8 pages post, i figured, this was the best solution, i am very happy, with the feedback i've received.
