i had a lot of fun with this game! one thing i found hard was knowing how close to a gunman i could get to without being shot, but overall i really enjoyed collecting bugs and discovering the different things they do to the gunmen! good job!

This can certainly have the potential for a neat idea. The main thing the game struggles with is feedback and providing information. For example I don't know if I'm collecting bugs, or if they're just teleporting around, or if I'm even supposed to, or what's going on. And the agents don't have any telegraphing of their attacks. And if collecting bugs is a good thing, it should feel good! You have pretty good feel elements for death, but it should be the same for your core mechanic.
hard, hard, got the seven then I was shoot ^^. Do you actually have chance to dotch /survive a shoot?
Hi Saturn! Ehm, not really. If you come too close to them (withing a certain circle collider) they will stop, load and shoot you even if you run away. But you CAN make them shoot themselves if you walk past them while they are buggy. Seems like the number one thing I got to be more clear about in this game ^^
My suspicion is that you were limited by your skill, but it just makes the game really funny. The simple animation of the legs is awesome! The game is really difficult though. I managed to get 33 bugs, but that was on a really lucky run; often I only got around 20.
Thank you dear sir! I am indeed a beginner when it comes to coding . Also, I tried to make the game as simple as possible because of the time pressure. I wanted the game to be quite difficult so played a number of times to see how far I got.. which was to around 50. Did you get that you can make the bad guys shoot themselves when getting close while they are buggy?
Nice job for a jam, realistic features for a finished game ! Cool but hard as hell, couldn't get over 30 bugs, cant dodge the enemies without the specials in the end, making it impossible to finish, is there an hidden trick ?
For further improvement though : could have better visuals and juicy feebacks, could have small random level variation (obstacles or walls) and other special bugs with new effects and you'll be set for a very good game :)
Thank you my green friend! Did you get that the bad guys shoot themselves if you go near them while they are buggy? I'll make that more clear anyhow. Another way is to try to clump them up in the middle as much as possible. It's really hard once they formed a line. I've managed to get past 50 three times, personal record is 61 hehee :). I'll check your game after dinner.
It's like pacman, but with people. Pretty fun.

I really liked the visuals as well as the sound, the gameplay was also quite fun! The simplistic art style was also really good!
10/10 animations. The music matches the game, and I like the simplicity of the sprites, it's not ground breaking gameplay but still fun. Well done.
