you switched it up in 8.33333333333333333 minutes. Had to be me to get a recurring fraction.

No real issues. just a bit difficult to see at first which colors are deactivated/faded but eventually got accustomed to the palette.

Liked the small touch of the playable congratulation screen, with choosing back to menu or restart being in-game

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make as much of the game as interactable as possible, as for the 8.33333. Any time you compleate it, It's always going to come back recurring :(   Post jam I'll release a version that fixes all the bugs and hopefully adds more levels!

This is one of my favourite platformers in the jam because of the excellent pacing and communication of goals - as many of the other commenters have said.

My only criticism is that I feel it is a weak interpretation of the theme; you could have replaced the spikes with a flag and it would have been the same game!

But as a game - great :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear It's one of your favourites!

loved the aesthetics and the music and the information was communicated in an excellent way

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I tried to make as much of the game interactable, for example allowing the player to try out the controls on the control screen, adds a lot imo! :D

Nicely-executed puzzle platformer with excellent puzzles and clearly-communicated goals. I'm a big fan of how this switches up the theme. Pun intended.

my laptop was lagging like hell but I think I would have liked it a lot without all the lag so I give you a good rating.
Please rate my game too ;)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'll look into preventing lag post jam!

And sure I'll take a look at your game. :D

Fun little game! The particles slow down computers, and are unnececary (they don'T even look that nice) and I had a bad resolution when playing, but aside from that cool concept and well designed puzzles (I think?). Just next time you use particles make them bigger, the same color and a lot less of them. Bigger effect, lower graphics needs. It's a win-win.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Lots of people have said about this and post jam, one of my priorities to sort out. :D

Cool idea, nicly done, a bit laggy (probably my potato pc). I got stuck in menu though, it stays in that state and you can't click anything, it just rotates!

Developer

Sorry about that! Couldn't fix it in time, I'm afraid you will have to reload the game. Sorry again! :)

Submitted(+1)

No problem, no need to apologize!

Developer

Well something to improve on post jam!

Developer

Thanks! GDevelop is really easy and fast to use, also thanks for the complement on the music! I spent way to long on it! xD

i used gdevelop a veryyyy long time ago

Developer

It's definitely got better recently, I only started game dev at the start of feb but I've seen older versions of GDevelop and it looks a nightmare to use! xD

Submitted

nice music, sound effects, and simplicity. but the game was laggy and the screen transition takes too long

Developer(+1)

Sorry about the lag, post jam I am really gonna add a toggle for particles . Thanks for the feedback! :D

Submitted(+1)

I really like the way how the game feels. You really nailed thed topic and I love the puzzle work! It's great!

Developer

Thanks for enjoying! Really appreciate it!

Nice game and looks great, i don't know if it was just me or it was just my computer but the particles were making the game lag, though my computer is probably just bad, overall quite nice!

Developer

Yep! I did to a little overboard with the partials, sorry! :D

Submitted(+1)

Fun game! When I press start, the triangle will keep spinning and stuck there. I think using fade would be much better and faster in Gdevelop for scene transition, but I'm impressed with what you've created. Cool Game :)

Developer (1 edit)

Couldn't find a fix for the spinning square unfortunately, definitely something to fix post jam. :D

Nice! I Like the Concept! The Music also sounds very good!

Developer

Cheers, took me forever to get the music done! xD
