Wow, the UI in this game looks really good. The action selection and all of that looks awesome, I'm really impressed, I can't believe you were able to bring so much together in such a short amount of time. Mad props for an ambitious jam project, I think you pulled it off nicely! I think a tutorial would be really helpful to teach some of the intricacies of the game, add some polish to the animations, and this would make a great full release :)

I may be biased due to my love of (slightly) unconventional JRPG battle systems (like Shin Megami Tensei, Mother 3, etc.), but the battle system was really fun, and the task system was pretty creative. Hope this becomes a full release.

However...it would be cool if you added like a highlight to the targeted enemy or something to polish the game up a bit, but that's just a suggestion.

I felt the task system was creative. Combat felt a bit like a puzzle which added to the fun. Had some difficulty telling which enemy I was targeting if they where the same type/name so in the future that might be some UI to polish or make more obvious.

A turn-based combat system with 4 characters in 3 days? WOW... Well done!

Absolutely wonderful! Everything about this game just seems so polished and perfect. Considering that your team is fairly large then it might have been nice for the game to be a little bit longer but honestly that's the only criticism I can give because I'm pretty sure this will be one of the best games of the jam.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I would have loved to make more as well, but this was our first game jam and we're all still very inexperienced when it comes to this stuff. Your game is amazing too, I loved the art and it was impressive just how much you accomplished in just 3 days.

Nice looking art. I don't see how the theme is implemented tho.

I think that a typical RPG would be to defend their allys. But in this you "hate" each other (sometimes even kills your allies) which is not the typical goal of an RPG and would often be considerd as a failure, but here it is a sucess. So it is messing with the concepts of winning and losing.

Great job making a turn based combat system in just 3 days. Also I really like the artstyle. Good job!

I love the idea of you hating your cute lil companions and throwing them around! Very nice spin on the theme, the gameplay was fun and easy to to understand. The character art is lovely as well, it feels polished and consistent, and making the companions adorable really drives the plot home lol. Great job!

Unfortuately I encountered a bug that stopped my progress. I killed all my three companions during the second battle (with the bears), one bear was dead, and directly afterwards the game got stuck as if one of the dead enemies was going to make an attack.
