Neat mini games, throwing stuff at people is fun lol
Check out my game if you can :)
The minigames were fun, but the tutorials were a little soul-draining I must admit. :P 10/10 would smash a basketball into someone's face again.
Very unique idea, I love the concept of failing people so they get off your case! LOL I hit that jerk with the ball so many times it was fun. Nice game
I liked the game a lot, but I didn't like throwing the ball at a player's face. Sounds are good and pixel art is great
Nice little game! In my opinion, the music could be a little bit louder.
wow, very creative. I enjoying throwing the basketballs lol also the art was cool! Keep at it!!
Creative, fun ( tho I dislike shooting someone in the face with a ball I must admit).
I forgot thier hated dish and I just guesses based on what they had on the plate which was a cool game by itself!
Well done!
Thanks! =D
That's a very unique story and a good take on the theme! The problem I'd like to point out is different size of pixels in your graphics. The games just generally look better if you keep pixel size the same for every picture instead of scaling it up/down. :)
We did it this way because of time issues but I comepletely agree with you. Thanks for the feedback =)
I like the pixel art! The minigames gameplay is not extra fun but the situations are fun ;)
Thanks for the honest feedback! :D
Cool Project! I think its great that you attempted to make a game, I especially enjoyed the pixel-graphics. Both Mini-games were really fun, although I think the food one was quite easy while the other one was a bit to hard. The Tutorials were all over the place and not organized well, but for those two simple games it was fine. For a longer game you should definitely try to make the tutorial a bit more clear.
Ty very much! We will take it into consideration next time :]
Ye, making minigames is pretty hard to do as it turns out :P (BTP game jam flashbacks)
Great game btw!! Not really understood the concept behind of it but, heh... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Question: How do you aim the basketball?? The basket minigame tutorial is way too cluttered and i didn't fully understand it sadly :3
The concept was "failing your loved ones so you can live in peace.". x) The basketball is not really aimed. There is just an animation played for the different power levels of the power bar. I agree that it's not really clear! Thanks for the feedback
Hm I don't really get it ^^ but I like the visuals!
Haha, thank you. We'll try to make things clearer next time :P What exactly did you not get?
As an obvious pixelart fan I really liked your game. But like you recognized yourself, scope creep got ya. Next time make just one mini game and make it as polished as possible ;)
For the art, even in the mini games themselves the intro art would have been enough for a jam...weniger ist mehr or some generic stuff your grandma would have said ;)
I agree with you on all points. Thanks for the feedback :}
This is a cute little mini Wario Ware-style minigame collection that I wish there were more of. A shame there wasn't time for that third game! <3
Thank you very much! :D
The pixel art was great and the opening cutscene set the tone of the game very well! The minigames were also very intuitive! Maybe the score could impact the gameplay somehow though, maybe like a store... but then again its a jam and time is very limited lol. Overall, this is a great jam entry!
Yeah, the time was really rough! Thanks though =)
Visuals and sound are great, core story premise matches the theme spectacularly, unfortunately some of the controls feel a little janky, it's not super intuitive as to where the ball will go and how to flick the food around and for the food I felt like I had to think about too many things at once lol, probably just because of not taking the time to pay attention to how the mechanics work so take it with a grain of salt. Game feel is really great/crunchy.
ty for the feedback ^.^
Great job! Very fun take on the theme!
Thank you! :)
haha. please make a standalone game from "throwing a basketball into their face".
this is game hilarious. good job xD
Thanks a lot. Yeah we already thought about polishing it and adding more mechanics. More animations for the jerk would have been cool ^^
