Cool idea and amazing execution, really a great job!

I absolutely love the visuals, they are simple yet so immersive: the use of a desktop as a frame for the game is brilliant and really supports the idea that you’re helping an Ai break through a bunch of firewalls. The music is pleasing and uplifting, fitting the tone of the game so well: that Ai seems like a really nice pal, might wanna go out for a beer with it! :)

Gameplay-wise the game is solid and pretty, though a little difficult to pick up because of the small window you have to press each series of commands: it feels so so good when you get it right but can feel frustrating when you were a little bit off, almost feeling like your input wasn’t registred. As a matter of fact I only managed to get 9 as a highscore, rhythm games are definitely not my strength. ^-^’

The only thing I’ll say is that having red as the color for the first light telling you you got the input right is a bit misleading, since I first interpreted it as if I was doing something wrong instead: not a big deal, but definitely steepens up the learning curve a little bit more.

Overall a really nice entry, really fun to play: congratulations!

Thank you for playing and for the amazing feedback! I plan to update the game after the jam. For sure, I'll make the timing a little easier to get and to understand! About the red light, I totally get what you mean. I did it to keep the color palette on the desktop screen the smallest as possible. First, I tried to use the same light blue for all lights, but it was hard to see. So someone suggested to use RGB colors, and it worked nice. I'll explain the mechanic on the tutorial then! Again, thank you for the great feedback ^^

Love how it feels like a game within a game, super cute art and way to stick to a theme! Great submission!

It is a neat game. The visuals are cute, but the controls are oddly unresponsive.

Developer

Thanks for playing! You gotta wait until the AI is touching the wall and then press the sequence as fast as you can xD

Makes sense

fun game, but the inputs were a little hard to get them right

Really simple and creative concept but i had strong issues with the game getting no input, still nice game!

Developer

Thank you for playing! The game only gets input if you are touching the wall. I'll add an indication after the jam ^^
