Really cool and unique game! I love the concept of the dialogue options changing not only future events but the context leading up to that point as well.

Same here. This game really gave me that good ol' Pixel Ghost Pulp Game-Feel (TM) which is even more impressive as someones first Playdate game!
Great job!

Fantastic job immersing us into the story. It felt nice to have a soul on the other side of that radio. Started the adventure with dread, but eventually accepted my fate and enjoyed how beautiful and silent space can be.

I've played it and likes it. I agree gingerbeardman with the athmosphere!

Few things listed:
- nice start screen, nice music
- nice cockpit / armateur
- first time using the radar I didn't get what it was, I thought being alone means inside the pod
- cool and interesting story & dialogues
- nice implication of no chance of surviving
- or is it? I want to know how it ends :)
- unclear if all of the dialogues can be reached
- sudden drops of oxygen, I want to interact with others things
- pretty small cursor, if only two interactions are possible, could the cursor be bigger / different?
- first time playing for a moment I though the cursor is a ship inside a level :)

Maybe because I've just played Icarus before :)

Thanks for the lovely feedback!

All 9 endings/story paths can be reached, but some are quite a bit easier to get to, other are trickier to find ;)

The cursor is a bit of a bugear for me too; what I ended up with was the best option I could manage but it definitely could be better/clearer what it is. If/when I do a new version I think I will work on improving the cursor and hopefully add a few more interactables or different dialogues for interacting with them.

Thanks for taking the time to comment!

This is really cool, it’s amazing how much of a vibe you’ve managed to get across in such a limited amount of text and a single screen. Well done!

I played through it a couple of times and saw different dialogue options, and I think it said story 4 of 9 at the end both times. I wasn’t sure if that was intentional or a bug or not.

Thanks very much for your kind feedback! There are a couple of different paths that both result in story 4 so not a bug, but very interesting that you bring it up - this was a question I was having as I was making the game whether to use the word "Ending" or "Story".

I settled on story as I think it's more accurate since the narrative changes depending on your choices; all the number 4 paths have the same events but just with some different dialogue, but as you've proved it can cause a little bit of confusion. Something for me to consider.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, glad you enjoyed it!
