I loved how polished this game felt! Really impressive for 48 hours. The only complaint I have is that the homeowner's hitbox is a bit unclear, so it can be hard to move around him, but I still think that this is great!
This game is so fun. I honestly spent waaay too much time playing this amazing masterpiece. The only thing I can complain about is the movement. It doesn't feel good but that doesn't matter because it really fits well with the game and it just brings Simon as a character to life. Great game! I wonder what kind of follow up you will create next year.
Absolutely loved it, the little animations and sounds of UI elements make it feel really polished.
P.S. Much like Lewis, I too enjoy the scenery.
I really loved the game last year and this year did not disappoint! Excellent work! I found the difficulty was just right, I usually had to spend a run just scoping out the house so I could plan my route for the second run! I guess if you were to add an easy difficulty, it could show the layout of the house before you start, but overall, brilliant game!
Really great! Definitely a worthy sequel. I love the idea of sneaking around the houses and love the mechanic of dropping toys as traps. I did find the time limit was very short, so it became a bit of a game of deliberately failing until you've explored the house and then trying for an optimal run. I'd consider maybe giving a bit more time so there's at least a chance of clearing the houses first time through. Overall a really polished game!
Hey ! I really liked the game ;3 it was fun !
I don't even know if individual ratings are visible at the end of the jam, but here's how I rated the game:
Visual
Simple but effective visuals, really pleasant to the eye. I liked it a lot!
Sound
I enjoyed the different sounds a lot! All sounds fit perfectly with eachother, and their volume is set accordingly to their importance. It's nice to hear quiet footsteps, as Simon's trying to be discreet. Very well thought, very well achieved.
Tutorials
The best tutorials I've seen so far. Not too intrusive, but they tell you exactly what to do, are easy to remember and mostly, fast to read. Wonderful work here.
Gameplay
Fun
I had a lot of fun with this game, just a slight frustration from the game being too hard for me (I'm not really skilled, I guess haha).
Bugs
I didn't encounter any bug. The game feels really polished in every aspect, and in a 48h game jam, it's wonderful to have such a nice level of polishing.
Theme
Completely in the theme, no problem for me on that part :)
It’s a really fun game. I liked everything about it. The music is nice, so does the visuals. Well done mate!
Controls are a bit weird but the overall the game looks polished! Awesome visuals! Great work!
Best game i played so far.The limited vision is a briliant design idea
Really great game! Good job!
Amazing game. I didn't knew I could make this kind of game with construct 2. I got it from my friend last week. My game is also made in construct 2.
Wow! what an amazing game! well done!!

Awesome game, probably one of the most polished games here by far. All the mechanics work well and behave exactly as expected. 5/5
I had a blast helping you make this (even it was just playtesting). If you need me to test the next game, I'd be more than happy to. Keep up the great work.
For anyone curious, whilst I helped to test, the artwork, level design and coding was done by one man.
Saw the game from last year neat to see you back again! Movement could use some work but other than that looks good.
Another pixel art game! I love the style and story of your game, We both went with similar aesthetics and the game was fun to play as well! Love love love this!
Hello fellow Christmateer :)
Very neat looking graphics with a simple yet fletched out game idea. I am giving the art 10/9 just because it is so nice. The controls to run constantly are interesting though I myself find it not suiting to the rest of the gameplay especially in the kitchen where I needed multiple attempts to eat a cookie (sound weird writing it out load). The grumpy house owner made my day! The story is a bit weird when you think about it twice but... who cares it's fun! :)
And I also must say that your game idea is surprisingly similar to ours. Even the eating and drinking is included.
God this was a lot of fun to play, exciting gameplay, polished really well and overall very well designed.
Where do I begin?! Fundamentally enjoyable gameplay, outstanding sound design, and some serious polish! Perhaps the movement could be made a little bit more player friendly, and there could be some other way to increase the difficulty? Either way, great job!
Holy Sh*t this is a nice game. You idea is a bit similar to ours but your execution is like way better xD
The only critik i have is, that the controls feel a bit clunky, but everything else is awesome. Nice work!
