Thanks! I agree, between the spikes and the snake itself it can get pretty difficult. Sometimes the RNG will result in impossible levels with only spikes.

The game is pretty relaxing and the puzzles are fun . There's a game-breaking bug where you can press c and then x over and over again and you end up outside the bounds. Also, where did you find those incredible sound effects? I combed through google search results about Melos Han-tani but I couldn't find any sfx, just music.
This is a great idea. I'll make sure to rate you game and give you some feedback. Here's my game if you're interested:

I played the whole game, it was pretty fun. I've never played this genre before so it was a great experience. I think you should add the ability to drag and select an area of troops, since a lot of the gameplay was just waiting for the line of troops to gradually get over to the place I wanted them to be while the opposing bomb trucks would explode them. If you add the ability to change where some of you troops go, then you could actually do some strategic manuevers like distracting the enemies while you send one or two bomb trucks to the enemy miners. Alos, when the enemies reached my base and destroyed it, the game crashed. Not sure about that. Great game, I loved playing it and I'm excited to see where it goes in the future and how it does in the jam.
The game is super polished and has an amazing amount of content for 3 days. I didn't really understand how to roll my dice but the sound effects, feedback, and effects made this so addicting. The mechanic where taking damage removes potential dice rolls is so fun. My favorite part was the sound design. Where did you get the sound effects? What I would recommend is to improve the tutorial specificly how you teach players how to roll their dice, since I couldn't really figure out the mechanic and without it, the game is unplayable/impossible. For me it felt like I would just move around aimlessly and it would randomly roll the dice. Definitely a top contender in this jam and I really enjoyed it. Great work
I clicked on this game because I was surprised to see someone else had submitted a game called Void Runner. Your game is really fun and addicting. The polish is really nice and the sounds are top notch. I loved the variety of attacks and powerups. And the leaderboard instantly motivated me to play harder. My only critique is that the enemies all have too many hit points. I'm really impressed with this submission. Definitely better than my Void Runner lol
I love the idea and the art style. I feel like the game would be much better if their was a way to get health back. Also looks like the audio is a little messed up, that happened to my game too. Last thing is that the waves of enemies were too overwhelmng especially right when you spawn in the game. Great idea and execution!
I really like the game, it's fun and very fleshed out for something made in 4 days. So many mechanics and interesting level design. My only critique is that the collisions are all a bit wierd, also there's no way to move a box away from fences, and I don't see any reason for the gun to have collision. The polish in this game is phenomenal. Great job!
I like this game, its really polished and has a calming feel. The pixel art is just beautiful. Definitely a really unique take on the theme, and I think it was done well. However, for some reason I didn't find it fun. I'm not sure what it is, but it's missing something. Maybe the scale aspect of it isn't strict enough. I feel like it was too easy to just ignore the weight of the objects and just play it as a matching game.
The game is overall pretty fun with the upgrade choices that you have, but one major complaint I have is that the movement is pretty difficult, especially when you have the spike. in order to turn around you have to press both d and s which if you're getting attacked, it can slow you down enough to get caught. Another thing is that the heal option doesnt actually work, and after about three levels the monsters start spawning in so frequently and are so large that I found it impossible to kill them without getting hit myself. I wasn't able to progress past three levels. I love the art style, sound effects, and particles. Great job!
