My conga line of bomb cars were unstoppable!

Amazing job! Really loved this entry. The robotic chatter and background audio were very immersive and gave me a Homeworld vibe. The levels themselves were nicely presented, and although the gameplay was very simple, it was weirdly addictive. I would have liked to see maybe one more unit type, and I think I would have preferred LMB + RMB as the controls rather than Space. But these are minor things, overall it was a really awesome entry.

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! I actually had it has LMB/RMB originally but I kept mixing up the buttons when I was testing lol

Nice little short RTS game, which I'm surprised to see in a game jam due to their more complex nature! Nice work with this, even though the unit control is simple. The structure for the game is simple but still fun even though it doesn't require as much strategy as most other rts games. Very good work for a jam game, keep it up!

I played the whole game, it was a great experience. I think you should add the ability to drag and select an area of troops, since a lot of the gameplay was just waiting for the line of troops to gradually get over to the place I wanted them to be while the opposing bomb trucks would explode them. If you add the ability to change where some of you troops go, then you could do some strategic manuevers like distracting the enemies while you send one or two bomb trucks to the enemy miners. Also, when the enemies reached my base and destroyed it, the game crashed. Overall great game, I'm excited to see where it goes and how it does in the jam.

Yeah I agree about more granular unit control. Unfortunately that was one of the things I had to cut to fit in time for the jam. As for the crash, I realized as soon as I read your post that I forgot to test when the player's base gets destroyed even though I did for the enemy base haha. I've already found the bug in my code and fixed it

Interesting game. The concept is simple and perfectly adheres to the theme. However, it is a bit hard to play and doesn't allow you to continue once you lost all the troops. Also, it might need some polish after the jam. Well done!

One question. How on earth did you make an RTS in 72 hours!! lmao

Ruthlessly cutting features haha. Thanks for playing!

I really like this game! I love how the robots respond to your commands, and the atmosphere was spot on. You fit the theme of 2 buttons perfectly too, having one button to act and one to switch between units, really cool!

Thanks!
