Cool concept, well - polished game, had fun !

Wow, a very nice polished game. Awesome work with this one. Very unique concept. I found it a little too easy in some cases, where I could just very quickly fling myself from the starting point in the center to get a roll and wipe out all the enemies pretty quickly. I liked the idea of your dice rolls getting taken away on each hit since it made me want to play careful, even though I would typically get my health back shortly after taking damage. I think this game could use some more challenge or added modifiers / obstacles to make it harder and more strategic maybe. Great work though, keep it up!

Really enjoyed that one, good job.

Very unique game! I really enjoyed the combination of luck and movement - it was a really pleasant balance! I'd love to see an expansion with even harder levels or an infinite mode😊

Thank you for your kind words! I agree, I wish I made the game little harder. I didn't want to make players frustrated in a jam game, so I lowered the diffuculty as possible as I can, but this was a poor choice.

Loved your game btw, have a great day!

I think it was a great choice for the jam! There are so many games that are waaaaay too hard for me in the jam, it feels great to come across one that I can actually complete. It's just so addicting I want to play even more haha

Very cool dude!

Awesome job, one of the best entries so far! As I mentioned, my only feedback was it would have been nice to have some kind of visual effect on the box once it reached the "velocity" required for a dice roll. Aside from that, it was incredibly polished and a really unique concept.

Woah! Very creative and super polished game! Loved it.

This was really fun, I love the concept. My only piece of feedback would be that I think the gravity could be a little heavier, as it felt a little floaty.

Overall really well done!

The game is incredibly polished and addicting. The sound effects, feedback, and effects made this a great experience. The mechanic where taking damage removes potential dice rolls is so fun.  What I would recommend is to improve the tutorial to teach players how to roll their dice, as I wasn't able to figure it out while playing. For me it felt like I would just move around aimlessly and it would randomly roll the dice. Definitely a top contender in this jam, great work. I wanted to ask where did you get the sound effects?

Developer

Hi! Thank you for your kind words!I took some sounds from freesound.org and I created the other ones (like hit sounds etc.) I would agree that my game fails at teaching the core mechanic. Here's how it works, if you're still interested:

Movement has accelerated everytime you move, you try to build up your momentum (preferably with help of the air movements) and hit to walls with high magnitude. If you reach a certain magnitude level, the dice will roll.

As a creator of the game, I don't think I have the audacity to agree that my game is a top contender, but I understand you and I highly appreciate that you think that my game is top contender in this jam. Thank you so much for your kind works, you've really made my day!

Great game! Sound Effects are nice and it feels like a very polished game already! Congratulations on your work!

I loved it

The game mechanic is unique, and the dice hitting the walls paired with that camera shake creates an awesome experience.

Occasionally, I get stuck between enemies and walls, but with the sheer health in the room, it was never an issue. Great job, mate!

The visuals were really good on this one, and I loved the music. The gameplay is very unique, and it could definitely be expanded upon. I found it a little bit confusing, and would have liked if the combat felt more involved since most of the time I felt like it was best to just move side to side until I smashed the wall hard enough, but that could have been a skill issue on my part, and it didn't heavily impact my enjoyment of this. Great work!

Love this one, i love gambling. I wish there was more gambling involved. Other than that, pretty polished and a very unique idea!

Very well polished, good gameplay. There's a little bit of lag, and the handling of the dice is a bit weird sometimes. Overall very solid!
