I assume that the next update related to the Karma Cap will be on the way by mid April, if all goes well. I'll try to get more work done on Monday and then I can give a more accurate estimate.

Changes for the upcoming update include:

Multi build options for Buildings (finally)

Offline progression optimization, if possible with Automation options

Buuuuug fixes


If I find enough motivation, I'll even implement all the missing Purrks, Disciple Types and Departments, so the Devotion stage is finally finished.

We'll see how next week goes I guess :D

Yeah, I feel better now and I've also been able to get some coding done :)

And no worries, there will be more content after getting True Disciples in the future and getting more than 10^308 Karma will also be possible :)

I really like that idea, though I have other plans going forward.

But I will keep that in mind, maybe I can still make this happen :)

sorry for not replying sooner, I haven't been feeling all too well mentally in the past weeks.

I'd love to implement more stuff soon like the rest of the Departments and Disciple types.

Don't worry though, I will be back in time to update the game again :)

About the PED and PBD issue: when the bar fills, either an ED or BD is picked (both have a 50% chance), then you roll for promotion. So statistically both should increase at the same speed :D

I hope I can lift the cap in the near future, but I didn't have the time to really code much over the past few days.

There's probably an error with displaying the correct values when changing the Rank, I'll check it out

About the "income per tick" text: I'll add the rest of the Departments as well :)

Then there are two buttons you can still check out :3

Just checked it out and it is definitely there. 

A few updates ago, it wasn't even visible but now when I enter the correct menu, I can see it without a problem. 

Maybe there is one menu you haven't checked out yet :3

But yeah, those are pretty high numbers :D

I'll look into going beyond the boundaries of the "double" variable

When the cap is removed, all that happens is your KPS will be higher than before, I haven't thought of saving the time between having a cap and not having one, meaning there is no possibility to simulate that at the time 

But I think once it is removed, you'll be at about 1e250 or even higher, so I need to either figure out how to increase the limit of 1e308 by using other variables (like "Big Integer") or something else entirely. The 2nd option would be to reduce Karma Gain bonuses that come from the Devotion Stage, as being able to reach such high numbers will make any later Stage feel disappointing.

Maybe I'll have to build in caps for different stages, but I really don't like the idea of punishing or slowing down players who are really dedicated. This is just a temporary solution for the beta version, so let's hope I make better decisions in the future :D

When I get the next stage ready, which will take at least a few months before I can release it, I'll remove the cap or at least set it a little higher, as 1e303 is the goal to reach, but the game is far from being ready to be over :D

About MRPG: what level are you again? Over 1000? I'll have to add lots and lots more stages, enemies and all that before you can even think of gaining levels, that's true :D

I thought it wasn't possible to do that, at least when I tested it the "minus" button was greyed out. Well, I'll take a look when I can :D

Note that when the Training time is lower than 60 seconds there are diminishing returns when it comes to decreasing the time any further. The new cap is 15 seconds, but it's harder to reach due to this change. But the "Book of Law* has a second effect now: when the Training Center's training time is 60 seconds or lower, it trains additional Disciples as well

Hey there, I admit the update was kinda rushed and there's still more stuff to do and a lot to fix. About the XP: you should still gain XP, but the XP needed to level up has been increased, so it will take longer to reach higher levels. But don't worry, when I add more stages, enemies and all that and tweak the XP gain, it will all be fine again :)

There is probably something wrong with the calculation of the Training Center's speed, I'll have to check it out

And I've decided to add a Karma Cap, just for balancing

There are certainly no instances where the game's speed is being increased or decreased, but this does seems weird. Maybe it displays the wrong KPS. I'll have to check that out :)

I think it's funny that these get stuck in people's heads instead of helpful words like "thanks" or "hello" 

But it's really common to learn these curse words first as well 

I would love to be able to speak more languages, especially non-european ones. My wife and I wanted to learn Korean letters, but gave up on the idea due to low patience :D

Hopefully I'll be able to speak (or at least read) Arabic in the future 

In my mind "Home" sounds more peaceful than "House", so Disciples will always have a place where they can return for meditation, prayer, etc.

As the saying house: "Home is where the heart is" :)

Both the "Training" achievements can only be unlocked on Android and on Crazygames.com, as they have to do with ads or rather the number of times you've watched one :3 

And the positions of the newer Departments are probably off, I'll have to double check :D

Hmm, I can't seem to find any errors when it comes to promotions. Maybe I'm just not seeing it. If you can, send me your save file, I'll take a look :)

I've definitely changed it up, I'll make sure to add some more upgrades that make promotions easier, like a speed boost and better chances (like Library already increases promotion chances for Doctors)

Some upgrades have a max level of 9, as you've found out with Book of Law now :D

I'll make sure this upgrade still serves some purpose, but it's probably best to get some other upgrades first
