I really enjoyed this game! The choice of music and the sound effects gets you into the kind of vibe you get during autumn. The transition between day and night is really smooth and the lighting effects during the night is a really nice touch! I love the animations.. the cat is really cute :P I was going to say that adding some limited interaction with the animals could add to the immersive effect of the game... but you've already done it :O. 1 thing you could add is removing a big chunk of the pumpkin with the saw when the selected area is closed. Good job for the game!

I don't know if it was just me but the game window was too small for your game and I couldn't even see the full menu :-/ everything was cut in half

I think I got brain damage now by listening to the munchies a bit too much XD

This game is simple yet super interesting! I don't know if you planned this but once I got to understand how to play I was trying to place myself into an angle that would get as many coins as possible to achieve the best result :P Good job!

Thanks for playing my game and for the feedback :) Another commenter speedran my game by abusing the colliders so I definitely need to work on that :P

(1 edit)

Everything you did was not by design.... BUT

Thanks for playing my game :)

Thanks for playing my game and the feedback :) The difficulty curve is something I need to work on!

Thanks for the feedback and playing my game :) The sound could be optimize as I set it up quickly before the end of the jam. I'll keep that in mind!

Thanks for the feedback :) I agree that I need to work on the difficulty curve. I believe I would need to work on the level design and improve the mechanics to make it easier without being too easy. The jump mechanic is one that I always have some difficulties with and I am working on it!

Thanks for the feedback :) I always have more difficulties with the jump mechanic. I'll put more work in this mechanic!

Thanks for the feedback :) I agree that I need to work on the difficulty curve. Probably need more playtesting and a better level design to help me assess the difficulty of the levels.

The game took a while to load for some reason. The controls were easy to work with. I found that the character was changing its hair color while skating. Either blond or brown hair for some reason. Enjoyed it :) Thanks for sharing!

I also forgot that the sieve mechanic could be improve as it was not always easy to get  a good shake to remove the dirt from the sieve

I really liked the game! good twist on the theme for sure :) Got me finding all those nuggets for nothing :O It took me a good 4 or 5 shakes to get the key. I wonder if someone could miss the slurp ending because of that. That ticking clock got me nervous to finish the game as fast as possible!! Great pixel art I like it!! Thanks for sharing

I liked your game :) I found the hard mode difficult as I needed to remember everything :O I mean it is the goal of the game. Thank for sharing :)

Interesting twist on the theme. I had some issues with the mechanics as it would not let me take the ball up to the bucket for some reason. Thanks for sharing :)

Probably the best game I tried so far in this GameJam. Got me addicted super easily :P I got stuck on the pogo/double jump/dash section. Nice work! I would have liked some music with the game to make it even better. Thanks for sharing :)

Good work sharing your game even if it wasn't done 100% :) It was my first gamejam and I was really stressed out to be able to present it after 2 weeks! In terms of gameplay, you might want to work on adding some feedback (other than the % going down) when you get hit by a projectile. Another thing that could help the player is to limit the number of projectiles the enemies are shooting... I was overwhelmed in 10 seconds lool Thanks for sharing :)

I like the idea and I think the negotiation mechanics would need some improvements. I could offer 50 gold for an item and the mechanic would lower the price asked by the adventurer to the lowest he could go and then buy it. Also, if the adventurer asked me to pay 250 as its lowest, he could only accept 251 gold for some reason. Thanks for sharing :)

Really fun game :) I wish we had food clouds like this :P I felt that the character was a bit slow at times and was also really scared by the axes and pickaxes falling from the sky... couldn't get away from them.

I feel like your game is missing a small something to be addictive as a puzzle game. I got distracted by the amount of colored platform . I liked the music! You might want to help a bit more the players during the tutorial section.

Your art is really cool! Did you create everything? In terms of control, I had some difficulties with the wall jump as it isn't intuitive.  I also ran into a really interesting bug where I possessed the small jumping larva and got stuck inside the collider because I jumped close to the collider at the same time I unpossessed the larva.

Really nice game! I kept moving into the wrong direction even though I was sure I was following the right path :O !! Are the paths procedurally generated? cause this is pretty cool

Thanks for playing my game :) You are not doing anything wrong. I definitely need to work on the difficulty curve. Maybe add a couple of levels in between to lead to that difficulty and review the design of the level.
