The wall-jumping at the vertical moving platform in the third room would probably be much easier if one could cling to it and let go instead of bouncing off and having to continue jumping towards it to keep on moving along with the rising platform. I could hardly get the first coin in the room, and forget getting about to the next one, ever...
Also, if it approached the platform one is standing on a bit more it would be easier to get at...
Movement with the game controller was fine, but couldn't use it for (re)starting the game...
Nice platformer overall, and the difficulty curve is hilariously steep. xD Having only 4 lives to complete it and the tendency to slide off the ledges is quite brutal, though.

Didn't get far as this is not my type of game because it requires focused movements which I'm bad at :D however, I really liked the mood set by the lights in the levels and the music and sound fx. Nice work!

the music and mood were great but this was too difficult mate lol. I almost cried at level 3 lmao.
I mean everything was good but please make it a bit easier and those spikes on the walls are just too close to the platform. I hit them just by standing on the platform one too many times. but overall very fun game and great job.
As others already noted, level 3 is a bit tricky :D.
One tip stolen from Rick, is that you're an expert at your own game. So what you were comfortable doing when building, others won't be.
But it looks good, and clearly brought together lots of elements.

Very nice looking entry and the controls feel good except the jump might be a little heavy. I couldn't get past the 3rd level. I would jump down to the lower platforms and have nowhere to go. Highscore of 10 lol. Good job!
Hard but fun. Love the art style. Also something about that some of collecting coin is just so satisfying.
I think it is a bug but sometimes when I touched a spike I lost 2 heart instead of 1.
Still good work.
Frustratingly fun, although I think some of your collision boxes are too large and there is a little bit of a sticking issue to the edges which sometimes helps but othertimes not so much!
Fun little game, collecting gold meets the brief and it looked good!

I don't understand people that are saying the control are too hard. I think it's the perfect game to speedrun. I don't have the exact time (might be nice to add it by the way), but I think I made the first sub 1 minute :)
hmmm... you seem to jump higher now? Not sure if developer(s) submitted a fix, but maybe you're supposed to hold down jump for longer? Can't remember what I did, but your jumps seem way longer than mine. Also is "wall jumping" a thing here? wasn't clear to me.
I feel like there might be some collider logic that isn't working properly. I'm jumping a second time when hitting a different collider, even if coming from under. On the 4 level, I'm really not sure how I double jump tho, but it seem to work when doing it right at the crack between the 2 platforms.
But I wouldn't say it's a bug, it's a feature that speed runner can exploit :P

I liked the music and the sound of the coins kind of matches the music (at least in my mind) but the sound of the coins is too loud in my opinion.
Overall I find it a great game.

As others have noted, this is quite difficult! I wanted to progress but those spikes kept wiping me out. I like that there is lots of air control, but the jump feels a little anemic for a platformer. Great music!
Thanks for the feedback :) I agree that I need to work on the difficulty curve. I believe I would need to work on the level design and improve the mechanics to make it easier without being too easy. The jump mechanic is one that I always have some difficulties with and I am working on it!
Love the Music :D! The jump is feeling "sticky", but the visuals are pretty nice, too!

Good job on creating this and finishing the jam. I like how it's a bit forgiving for rolling the player over ledges. But I think the same thing nudged me off of cliffs too. The second stage with the platforms going up and down were pretty short and close to the spikes. Ease up on the difficulty curve some. Honestly though, great effort. I really liked the mood!
Thanks for the feedback :) I agree that I need to work on the difficulty curve. Probably need more playtesting and a better level design to help me assess the difficulty of the levels.
I have to do some tweaks to the difficulty curve of my game too. It's a tough balance.
