I'm glad you had a good time playing the game! We are planning to develop more so be on the lookout for dev updates and social links in the future! I agree that the furnace mini game requires you to pick up a bolder the size of the Earth! hahah Some tweaking and reworking will be done for sure.

Thank you for the feedback and the good wishes for further development. We are continuing development and soon we will post some links and probably dev logs here to track the progress of the project. For the jam we had a time restraint to get things how we wanted and currently the water/oil mini-game do work as intended, however you are right that it does feel weird to still fail even after passing one. Rest assured the min-games will be reworked and tested well to make sure we catch all the bugs in the future. A reward system for finishing jobs to make it feel more like a accomplishment will most definitely be implemented in the future! :)

I'm glad you were able to enjoy the game even thought it had little bugs and glitches. I'm sorry the water/oil mini game was too difficult I hope you at least got to pass some jobs and didn't fail too many! Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you for your feedback! The continued development will work to iron these things out. Overall I am glad that you took the time to play and had a good time playing out game! :)

Thank you for feedback! The resolution on the mini-games was something we knew but didn't have time to fix right away but plan to get that sorted right away. The cat will mostly definitely be able to be petted. We actually have some ideas as to what the water and oil mini-games will should do and in the future you will be able to pass either one or the other but it will have advantages or consequences. Thank you for the kind words and thoughtful list of feedback here it is greatly appreciated and everything will be taken into account. :)

The moment I saw the screenshots I knew it was a VN before reading the page. I wasn't expecting to see a VN in a game jam submission because I haven't seen one submitted for a game jam before! It was awesome to be honest and I nice wholesome change of pace. I enjoyed playing and the narrative was spot on. The art is absolutely beautiful. I hope to go on more adventures in the future!

I enjoyed playing your game even thought it took me a minute to figure what I needed to do. I found it challenging which was nice but I think I got to a point were I was mindlessly trying to get them to go off at the right time. Nonetheless the game is beautiful and the music/sound effects are spot on.

I enjoyed this so much and so did my game dev partner we both thought this was super cool. The crafting took me a minute to figure out but once I got it down it was just fluid from there. I wish there was more content and things to do and see because the art is beautiful and everything fits the theme exactly how you want. I really enjoyed how you did combat as well with the sword going around a circle around the player model. I have seen it a few times but still fascinates me how satisfying it is to play combat like this. Overall absolutely wonderful and I hope to see this developed further in the future! :)

While I haven't played triple triad in final fantasy at all I don't know the origins of the inspiration I still thought it was a pretty cool concept. I found the card aspect and interactions with the cards quite satisfying and hope to see you expand on this to be honest. I might mention that it would probably feel better if the cards were laid out in front of me instead of vertical like so even thought I get you were trying to make it a bit easier to see everything going on. I also thought the crafting was kind of cool, however how I was suppose to get coins was a little confusing and seemed a little weird I had to use coins in combination with the cards to craft new ones. I do get what you were doing there though and made it feel like recruiting new units for the battle. I overall liked the simplicity to the game and the images on the cars were cute! :)

Overall not a bad game to play. The graphics/art are wonderful. The little characters were cute and fit the theme and vibe of the game super well. The one thing I'll be honest about and its probably just because I don't like mobile games, but have a timer after going to an area left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe as a suggestion instead of cutting off that part of the map for 30-45 seconds and forcing the player to wait a system could be put into place that might be randomized and if resources need to be gathered there you would get less resources after going back there right away versus just waiting some time doing another task somewhere else. In my opinion being cut off right away just felt weird. With that out of the way I still enjoyed the game and thought it was really cool to see this theme and sort of complexity in the jam. :)

I had a pretty good time after I figured out that I needed to drag materials over to the ?customers? on the right hand side and it took me a moment to figure out I needed to do that, so maybe some sort of short tutorial as to get into the game loop quicker would be an advantage in the future. Having a way to see what resources I have made in the past and maybe a piece that is needed to make that recipe would also be advantageous, but I can see that a challenge wanted to be imposed on the player. The art is beautiful and the theme is put together really well. Overall great job!

I had a pretty good experience while playing however I was unsure how to actually craft or progress while playing? maybe it just wasn't as intuitive or I kept dying so I couldn't kill all of them, but maybe a short example of your goal might have helped a little. It was way more fast paced then I excepted with presented me with a challenge which I found satisfying.

I sort of get the vibe that you wanted to do something for the game jam but might have been new to unity so not sure how to do things. I like the simplicity but I would have liked to see a bit more narrative and more thought/passion put in. Shooting some squares with some circles doesn't allow me to get into sniper headspace if that makes sense.

I think the idea has some pretty good potential as it kind of has its own twist rather then being like some of these other survival titles such as Rimworld. I think it would be pretty cool to see what happens to the game if you were to expand on it. :)

I had a pretty good time playing your game. The spell crafting aspect was a cool theme to see in the jam and surprised me a little. Combining resources gathered game me an alchemy vibe at the same time which was super satisfying. It took a minute for me to figure out what to do so maybe an in-game tutorial might help a little but overall just kinda of needs more content. I was also running around smiting skeletons trying to figure out what else I could do haha!

Thank you for the feedback! We do plan on continuing the project, so this will definitely be taken into account when working further. While testing the game I also had trouble with the water/oil minigames haha!

Thank you for your feedback! You make a good point about the bellows. We are going to continue the project further so we will make that better! :)

Thank you for the feedback. We had plans to implement some sort of selling system to actually have an execution for the job orders, but due time restraints we had to cut it. We agree with you 100%. Also, the cat will definitely be pet-able in the future if enough traction on the project is gained. :)

Thank you so much for the feedback and the follow! The jamulator game jam was the first game jam myself and Kazuto have participated in before along with creating a game together as well. We found it difficult to get what we wanted to do done and in turn areas are of the game now are flawed such as what you mention. It was nearing the end of the game jam and we knew it needed some sort of death implementation because we had the vitals; hunger, hydration, radiation, health. If those were to be implemented then death had to come along with that. We just weren't able to come up with something original in the amount of time that was left. As for the music we actually didn't make it but I felt like there had to be some sort of musical element to give the game/prototype more character and Kazuto mentioned something about an exploration theme and as such we came across this beauty - https://opengameart.org/content/medieval-exploration The website has a lot of free assets to be used anyway you like as long as you follow the license. We have some good ideas I like to think in the works. Hopefully in due time we can show everyone! :)

Thanks for the feedback! Yea after getting some feedback similar to this and towards the end of the game jam realizing some things weren't so friendly. Later tonight we will be uploading an update that hopefully makes things a little more friendly.

I wanted to say that this one more statisfying then I thought it was going to be when I first went into it. I first wanna say I appreciate the input you gave upon mine and Kazutos submission we appreciate it a lot! Now to my review!

Pros:

- Awesome no actual gameplay problems had a wonderful time

Cons:

- Had a weird resolution thing but it may have to do with my 4k screen so not actually holding that against you just mentioning it.

10/10 :)
