Pretty solid entry. I enjoyed the simple puzzle elements, and the music, which appeared to be original. Nice work!

Was I meant to be invincible? Nobody could hurt me. I enjoyed the art, simple clean, and readable.

The best part of this game was the music and old-school aesthetic. Nice work.

The music was great, but it seemed a little hard to play. Sometimes my strumming was ignored entirely. Solid entry overall, nice work!

Super cool entry. I hope you do well overall, you deserve it.

I loved the visuals, and sound! Great work!

Pretty cool! I really liked the simplistic yet stylish art style.

Interesting game! I felt bad killing all the bears though.

This was a wicked hard old-school experience. Reminded me of the days of Hexen. Great work, this was was legitimately fun to play.

Great entry. The music was strange but alluring, and the idea of having deaths upgrade the character was an interesting one. Nice work.

I really enjoyed the theme, but I'm a sucker for anything to do with the afterlife and metaphysics. Very cool little game. Thanks for making it!

This was a really interesting Jam entry. There were some issues where it was difficult to read what people had done because the scroll would flip up and down constantly, but the art, theme, concept, and sound were all great. Nice work!

Great art, and an interesting game for sure. I was a little confused as to who I was supposed to be. Are you playing as the disembodied spirit of goodness that inhabits all people?

A great use of the theme, and I enjoyed the simple old school art style.

I really dig the nes aesthetic.

Very calming style. Nice entry.

Really great game, one of the few that I have finished so far. Thanks for your entry I really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this game. Had a map, which is a nice quality-of-life feature, and the squishy bus had style.  Good work and nice entry!

Extra points for quacking when you duck.

Charming super clean style.

Fun little game. The upgrade mechanic was simple and the waves of enemies were fun to fight. I enjoyed the "low effort" style of the enemies. Reminded me of the mooninites from Aqua Teen. Great work!

The visual style is very nice. The game was a bit difficult to play since there was no in air xspd decay, but I enjoyed it overall. :D

Squishy smooth animations made this one for me. Murderin' myself has never been so much fun.

Excellent style and art direction, and the music was great too. Fantastic entry. I'll probably come back and beat this one.

Loved the soundtrack and simple style of the game. Very well polished, however I would have preferred keyboard controls. Thanks for your great entry!

The best part of this experience was the pixel art. Very nice work there. The controls were serviceable, and the upgrade mechanic was well executed. Nice!.

Nice entry. Simple hand-drawn graphics, mellow music, and an interesting puzzle mechanic. Well executed. I really enjoyed this one.

That is the correct response. :D

Super cool. I love games like this where you have to use ghost versions of yourself to complete the levels. To be honest, I have no idea how to make such a thing. Thanks for your entry!

(1 edit)

Yeah, I made this game in one day so there was zero editing. I completely agree some controls on the screen would have helped. For the Samurai duck game, you have to hit space when the screen flashes red. Your goal is to be faster on the draw than the other samurai.  Sometimes you have to wait a while for the screen to flash red, I probably needed to lower the randomization a bit there. Thanks for playing!

This was a great experience. I would call it more of an interactive story than a game, but the vibe, the voice acting, and the style were fantastic. Thanks for your entry into the jam. I stayed, by the way. Not sure why, LA is a cesspool. :D

I could not figure out how to beat this game, but the art and music were great. :D

I really wanted to play this, but it didn't seem to work. There was a lot going on, and it looked polished. How do you hurt enemies? The left mouse does not shoot, and the right mouse activates the spirt eater ability which didn't do anything. I tried using it while touching enemies, and I tried eating their attacks, but this was ineffective.  I'll revisit this again and hold off on voting.

Graphics and style were top notch. Tons of character. But the game was extremely tough to play.

The art style was really good, and the music was jammin' but my character kind of got stuck and it was very difficult to play.

The quest system was interesting and overall the game was well executed. Having to click the mouse every single time to shoot was a bit annoying, my finger hurts. Overall great entry, Nice job!

I really dig the old school Mega Man vibes here. Nice job.

I really enjoyed the style of your game. Great work.

This game was legitimately great. The first game in the jam I played all the way through. Simple but fun combat and a testament to how to upgrade systems really keep the player playing. Great work.  The art felt like a medieval painting.

Great work on the art, very clean and stylish.
