How does your game fit the theme?
the player plays trough a series of levels where the end of the level becomes the beginning of the next one.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, I made some of the art and modified a previously made player movement script all other code was made during the Jam.

The best part of this game was the music and old-school aesthetic. Nice work.

Nice gameplay and cool artwork. I really laughed at that flying swastika-thing that you shoot.

lol thanks for playing . it is supposed to be a shuriken . it was my first attempt at pixel art  !

Pretty nice game! A bit hard tho. I really liked the graphics and sfx! I presonally think that they control layout is a bit weird but it's just my opinion. The game really reminded me of celeste. Good Job!

(Also it would be nice if you could try out my game ^^)

Developer

thanks for playing and for the feed back on the controls scheme, I ma still figuring out how to choose a keyboard control layout . I did try your game too!

Pretty cool game, I died 108 times and got 23 hearts, I like the art and level design, it's cool how you make your way back through the levels to the start point. The only thing I could say you could improve is the dash, I can tell it on some kind of counter but it's too long because I often get to another jump and it's not yet ready to be used and I die. Other than that great work! Keep it up!

Nice game!

Really nice animations and effects! Fun platformer that would have been easier to play with more standard controls (WASD, space, etc.)

Developer

Thanks for playing .  Sorry that the game screen does not show but you can move with  A and D also and jump with space,  I am just getting used to key board controls

Despite weird controls, it's pretty nice. I liked graphics and overall feeling of the game.

Developer

thanks for playing,  I am really struggling to create a good player controller !

Love it! Great pixel art, black and white style. Catchy 8-bit sounding music! How did you get that sound?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing I got the sounds from open game art

https://opengameart.org/content/generic-8-bit-jrpg-soundtrack

and made the sound fx using chiptone.

Great! It’s interesting to see projects on Itch like Chipnote designed for game making. Thanks for sharing!

60 deaths, most fun I've had so far! Controls could be easier though

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing  ,  I am happy to hear that you had fun playing ,  60 deaths that has to be a record !  still working on the controls.

I was kinda disappointed when I tried to use W to jump and it didn't work and overall I wish the controls were smoother/easier. I like how you incorporated the theme into the game, and the BW color scheme is also nice.

Developer

thanks for playing

I was struggling to get the controls to feel just right .

I really appreciate your feedback;  I was trying to go for a retro feel to the visuals,  this is my first time doing pixel art.

Some great levels, but the movement was a bit like tank.

Developer

thanks for playing and your feed back , I am still working on the controls.
