No way! I didn't know. Well this is a great thing to be able to pull off! I'm learning as well but I got lucky and had a great mentor on the team. Good luck to both of us on this journey :)

Hi StefGrizzly,
I recognize the assets you used, alone they are a little dull but the warm lighting you added really changed up the mood and atmosphere! This really shows how important lighting is. I loved the pixel rain you added, I am such a fan! The story is great, I like how it is about family love and not just love between a couple. For the life of me, I could not figure out the code for the axe. Where was the clue?
There were a few minor bugs that I found like I could walk through the door just south of the master bedroom. And assets disappearing on the exterior of the building if you walked into a certain location. But nothing really disruptive to the gameplay.
Gonna be adding this to my collection! I hope you continue to further develop this.
Thanks,
Christine (Aluvea)
Hi Limbo,
I enjoyed the game even though it's unfinished!
Here's my feedback and questions:
- Were there supposed to be random major events as you progress into the game? I did not run into major events except for encountering monsters.
- I was unsure of the numbers at the top of the screen. One was for hunger, number of goblins and rest? I didn't know how the numbers worked. Can you explain this to me?
- I enjoyed the visuals and music a lot, definitely a nice change from the other games.
Hey there Martín,
I really liked the gameplay and I also wish there were more levels to play.
Here's my feedback:
- I really like how your Title Screen and menus looked! It was really clean and the colours worked well together.
- I liked that there were two types of enemy cars, one faster and one slower.
- I would have liked to see the ambulance start at random locations to change up things up
- I think I noticed that the remaining enemy cars stay on the map even after you restart the ambulance position (not sure if this is what you wanted).
Great little game! I want to see more levels :)
Hey Azzine,
Definitely like an FFR or DDR sort of game! I would have preferred to use keys instead of the mouse but like you said it was originally meant to be on mobile so that makes sense.
I think the game could be improved with some visual feedback when you hit the target and differs depending how close you get to the center like perfect, good, OK, miss, etc. Also adding a background while the music is playing would add to the experience! :)
Congrats on completing the game jam!
Hi Merlin,
Good job on the little game! I was unsure of the objective of the game but to me, it felt like the beginning works of an MMORPG. I like the style of the environment!
I think there could be some improvements here:
- How To Play screen (explaining the objective an d controls of the game). The game that we submitted also was missing this and I found is really essential to any game!
- Adding some sort of backstory to the gameplay adds depth to the game
- If you plan on further developing this game, maybe adding more moves like a body slam and jump movements would be cool!
Congrats on finishing this game jam! :)
Hey there, I thought the idea between switching times to complete the obstacle was unique! It was cool that you could control that yourself at any point. I liked the level progression in the design and the art aspects.
It was a little hard to control the player because you had high jumping or movement power, sometimes it was hard to accurately land where you wanted to. Maybe making some platforms wider would help.
I found the sound effect of time warping was a bit jarring. And if you spam between the three times the SFX plays everytime and overlaps. Perhaps adding a limit to how many times that can play could be added. Adding some background music would definitely wrap things up and add to the mood!
Overall, really great game! Congrats on completing the game jam :)
I enjoyed the gameplay very much. I think the concept is really interesting. I'd love to see more levels be developed for this game. The robot model and environment look very nice and clean. The only thing I can think of is some music to be added during gameplay. Other than that, perhaps some sound effects of the second robot so you can hear it coming up the blocks without looking around the level to search for it.
Congrats on completing the game jam! I really enjoyed this one.
I really enjoyed the ambiance, visual effects, music and sound effects. I felt like all matched well. The other thing is the controls feel really smooth and makes you feel like you're gliding through space. Feels good! I think I found a bug where some of the light orbs would be outside of view but enough to see the green/blue particles.
I only made it past Mars so I'm not sure if the gameplay changes after that. It'd be interesting to add different elements to the gameplay as you progress further. But to be honest since this is a realistic game, what else is there in outer space other than asteroids? Perhaps, black holes that pull you towards a certain part of the screen? Anyways just spitting out some thoughts!
Congrats on completing your game! It looks great.
