Cool! I liked the controls! They are smooth, with a certain drag to them... feels right for a "lighty" thing travelling space! Also liked that the "bad" asteroids didn't ill you, only makes you loose momentum!
Great job!
Cheers!
Nice game! Nice concept, visuals and audio. I felt it very harmonious. The controls were somewhat hard for me, but I guess it is hard to move at the speed of light *ba dum ts*. Congrats!
I like the fact that the distances are accurate with the reality. It was hard for me to know which asteroids should avoid and sometimes shadows hide some of them. Overall a fun and entertaining game. Good job!
Great game i remember trying it out before the submission and i defiantly better at it this time. love how when you reach a planet it you can see it in the background. great look feel and mood. Well done
Very relaxing game. The music really fit the atmosphere. I liked how it got darker the further you got from the sun, which was a great reminder of all of my photon brothers who didn't make it that far.
Im glad you enjoyed :D thank you for your feedback
It is a really nice game, as Marcus said mouse control could probably be fun, but the keys work fine as well :) The art and the music were good, they suited the game perfectly!
One bug/problem I found was that some of the energy that you could gather, were outside of the screen almost, so you could barely see them. Make the area they can pop up a bit smaller height wise.
Overall I like it.
- An option to use the mouse as controller would be fun.
- On the main screen maybe show planets discovered as well as highscore and maybe move the highscore to a more obvious place (just to the right of play)
- Perhaps add an option to restart from the last planet with the current remaining time so you feel like what you have done before is locked in.
- I also think maybe make the trail thinner and add more detail to the sphere itself.
You may think I'm just being negative but I think you have a really good game here but it could be a great game. You have a lot to work with here and its making me look forward to trying out UE.
Thank you very much for this, I appreciate every feedback :D I never touched effects in unreal before and thought this would be the best opportunity to learn it, instead of trying to learn cascade I decided to learn their new system, Niagara xD I wasn't very happy myself with the end look of the light but that was as far as my knowledge of Niagara could go :D I definitely agree with every other thing you suggested too :D thank you very much for you well constructed feedback.
Great job on the art and audio - definitely felt like a good space game. Once I had to get to Jupiter it became a little long and it seems like I could pass straight through some bad asteroids. Also, the bad asteroids weren't very different from the background asteroids. Great looking asteroids though.
Thank you for you very constructive feed back :D
Nice peaceful relaxing game! The background was very mesmerizing, and I really liked the goal updating itself as you surpass different planets. Nice job!
Thank you for your kind words :D
I really enjoyed the ambiance, visual effects, music and sound effects. I felt like all matched well. The other thing is the controls feel really smooth and makes you feel like you're gliding through space. Feels good! I think I found a bug where some of the light orbs would be outside of view but enough to see the green/blue particles.
I only made it past Mars so I'm not sure if the gameplay changes after that. It'd be interesting to add different elements to the gameplay as you progress further. But to be honest since this is a realistic game, what else is there in outer space other than asteroids? Perhaps, black holes that pull you towards a certain part of the screen? Anyways just spitting out some thoughts!
Congrats on completing your game! It looks great.
Thank you very much I highly appreciate the time you took to right such a constructive feed back :D
Very nice idea! I love the mood, the sound and the visuals, the colors are great!
If I had to mention an issue I'd say I couldn't really tell which asteroids are just background and which ones are supposed to be avoided.
All in all a really nice and polished entry (particularly for those of us who are keen on nice visuals), congratulations on completing it!
Thank you very much for your feed back :D yeeh I think I could have made it a bit brighter. I'll definatelly have your feed back in mind when desining future games :D
Thanks so much, and thanks for the follow! Looking forward to your future games :)
Interesting game! I thought the main menu was aesthetically pleasing and the music gave it a very cinematic feel. Instructions on how to play were clear from the menu. Props on the procedural level generation because it's well done! I made it pretty far and traveled 763k miles. The controls and the bounce physics were pretty nice, although I think the gameplay got slightly repetitive about 5 minutes into it. Perhaps if new obstacles or enemies gradually appeared farther into the game, I think it would make the goal of reaching the last planet a little more enticing. Although the gameplay could be improved, I think this game's strength lies in the educational value of it. I think it’s pretty awesome that the game pays respect to astronomy by using accurate planetary distances from the sun. I also noticed that you as the player can travel at the accurate speed of light. Props on the research and accuracy. Given the fact that you actually travel at the speed of light, it would take at least about 4.16 hours to reach the last planet! Pretty educational game that really puts that fact into perspective by making you do the traveling. I thought it was occasionally hard to tell the difference between the meteors in the level and background (perhaps if they were different colors or if the background or if the foreground meteors were outlined or glowing?) Overall, pretty awesome! I think this would be pretty cool to have for people to play at an observatory.

Thank you so much for the feedback !!! I highly appreciate the constructive criticism as this is exactly what I need in order to progress in my gamemaking skills! I will for sure be using this feedback in my portfolio, if thats OK with you! Also, props to you for working out how long it would take to complete this game ahah! Should I decide to return to this later on, I will definitely take into consideration your feedback and add some enticing obstacles further into the game! :D :D
Oh no problem at all! Glad you found my feedback helpful!
cool looking game! unfortunately i couldn't hear any of the music you put in the game.
Thank you for the feed back :D I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem :/
Music worked fine for me.
