Just want to thank you for your help, I finally managed to recreate the bug on a different PC and tracked down the issue. I won't bore you with the details but I can confidently say that I fixed the problem (knock on wood). So, I just wanted to thank you for being so helpful in ironing out this bug, and I hope you can get to enjoy what I made!

KILLER GAME! It lacks a little impact on hits but all other aspects are nearly flawless! Unfortunately there is a bug where I can't unlock any planet past planet shit despite winning the fight. I did get a gameover once on planet Xeneron so maybe that has something to do with it?

Super cool game with awesome art! Really fun idea and this type of game format is always great to see.
All it needed was some variety in how the rooms looked to get a better grasp of where you are so not all parts of the ship looked like the same place.

Love the art! The overall vibe made me feel like I was playing Undertale again which was very nice. Good work!

Great art! 5 stars for Gameboy soul, felt like I was playing a ROM, fun small game!

Surprising amount of content! Put in a good like 20 minutes trying to figure it out XD super fun, love the look of the game, good puzzles!

Worth a download! Super fitting art, and the palette was such a great choice. Fun mechanics to experiment with, and a solid length to figure things out and complete. Great work!
