How does your game represent Mode?
At first, we were a bit lost about which direction should we choose for the game based in the theme “Mode”, and we were having all types of crazy ideas, but then we started to take It literally, thinking about mode, like in fabrics and clothes, and then “Stitch and Switch” was born. The game goes around a little doll, who lives in a seamstress apartment, and has to fight diferentes types of enemies made of disposable cloth and designs for other toys. “Snitch and Switch” is a Rogue Lite, that works based in waves of different enemies having one final encounter with our boss. To fight, them, you can choose between our three weapons, we wanted to add the theme here too, and thats why you have “three different modes” each, with their pros and cons. We hope you like It, and Thank you!

The graphics and presentation are great. "Tank Controls" were an interesting choice for this style of game. I think the control schema wouldn't matter so much if there was more feedback in the battle mechanics; something to give the feeling of hitting and having been hit. Ultimately, though, a great foundation for a game. Good job!

I really like the visual style and look of the game. same goes for the animations for the player and enemies. Actually playing it however was not that fun for me.
The manner in which I have to move my character around is very weird and unintuitive, making dodging hits and hitting enemies difficult.
If the core control scheme gets adjusted, then I can see this becoming something very cool.

Amazing visuals, especially with it all being 3D. The combat lacks some responsiveness but i like the choice of weapons. With some love, i could see this being a nice little roguelite like Hades.

I like art a lot, music very good. But controls feels very weird for me. It's hard to attack and movement very confusing. Maybe it's just me but imho I think it still needs a bit of polish. Great game overall.

Amazing art style and 3D models! You guys clearly put a ton of work into this. It's super impressive that you created so many high quality environment models and character models in just a couple weeks - well done! If you decide to expand the game after the jam, I'd love to have an optional control scheme with absolute movement instead of relative to the mouse.

Oh my, I didn't expect to find an entire action roguelite! It actually caught me by surprise. The attack choices are interesting. I like the needle the most. I like the theming with clothing(mode) here. I may suggest to not tie the walking control with the direction we're facing and lock it instead, it gets a little disorienting. But other than that I do like the foundation with this game already!

I love the art style so much! The 3d looks so nice and the texture is so pretty!

The attack timing for the scissors confunse me a bit, but it is really overall polished right now!

keep expanding it!

Very cool presentation. I liked that design of all of the art, the music and sounds were nice, and animating all of the characters etc probably took a good bit of work. It would have been nice to see more feedback like Jared Devs said. I wasn't 100% if I was attacking etc. Only so much you can do during a game jam though! Great concept.

Cool game, it reminds me a lot of hades. The art is fantastic,  I love the enemy and player models. The controls are a bit frustrating and I think the game could use more player feedback in some parts. Overall though good work!

Prolly will be one of the best of the jam in terms of presentation! Gameplay is great minus the controls being affected by the player's direction and the final boss being seemingly impossible to damage without getting hit.

Art is absolutely gorgeous , I hope you guys work on the game more after the jam I'd love to play a full game like this! Great work!

Awesome game, really love everything about the presentation! The music, all the art and 3d models are super nice and really fit well together.

One small issue I had is with the controls, which are a bit unconventional imo - in most games like this, the input directions control the character's movements relative to the screen; whereas movement relative to the mouse would fit more if this game was in first-person. Took me a while to get a hang of these controls, but had a fun time after I figured them out

Great work!!

This one is by far the game with the prettiest graphics. You guys did a great job with the art. :)

The dash movement is smooth and satisfying, and who doesn't like to survive waves of enemies while shooting them? :D.  And a boss fight is always a great way of ending a game :)

The music is awesome, so congrats to Nestor. And, again, the graphics are amazing, I showed the game to a few friends and they had nothing but great thoughts on it.

Also, I checked your youtube channel and I see that every content you make is as good as this one, so you have a new subscriber now, and also, 5/5 rating in everything (I wish I could rate 10/5)

The controls need some work. It is very hard to tell where you are going. The hit boxes might also need adjusting. It feels like the needle has a much smaller hitbox than the enemy projectile, and the ruler seems to just damage the entire room. You guys have the best assets both music wise and art wise out of the games I've currently played during the jam. I'd love to see a more polished version of this game. I also managed to beat it, but just barely.

first thing, this game is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! i love the modeling and texture work so much, i can't believe it's from a free game! unfortunately, there's a couple issues i have with it that hold it back from being the best it can be - the controls are very unwieldy, and it makes the game a lot more frustrating than it needs to be. if you keep working on this after the jam, maybe they could be revised to be more intuitive? it's also very hard to tell if you're actually hitting enemies or not, as the animations are a little slow, the damage indicators sometimes don't show, and the enemies barely react to being hit. with a little more polish in these departments, though, it could be absolutely phenomenal! amazing job!

Fun game! The art and animations were really well done, and I liked the inclusion of multiple weapon types! My one bit of advice would be to add a sound effect when the player hits the enemy for a bit of extra feedback. Great entry!

Thank you so much, audio was giving some issues so we had to cut short in that front, thinking about implementing it really soon!
