Great puzzle game, pretty relaxing to play. Interesting story, wonder what happens when they get to the moon.

I think this has some potential, But I had some issues around the controls. I already move super fast, I don't think a dash is necessary, but I think you should have a way to cancel the attack animation, I found myself getting hit a lot because I was locked into an animation, and felt like the enemies attacks are always faster, and kept running off the edge over and over because the character speed.
Looks like his could be fun, but I just don't play smash style games often so take my feedback with a grain of salt. That being said, the animations were all very nice and fluid.
thanks for playing. I appreciate the comments. You're not the only to have issues in the forest, if I were to do it again, I'd redesign it, I was trying to make the player really feel lost by making them feel like they didn't know what they were doing, and a lot of people really over thought the riddle.
And yes. Both the timer and getting hit don't impact the game(at least until the last level), and it was a design choice as I felt like that hurt the experience in the end, but the systems are still there to try and get you to feel pressure.
Overall, I hope you enjoyed the experience and story of the game. And thank you for the feedback. :)
I saw your comment about some of the jumps not being possible, was the jump from day to night where the icy looking blocks were one, I just could never seem to get high enough to get up there. Were you trying to go for like one of those rage jumper games? if so, I think you're on the right track, but if not, I would consider adding in checkpoints that you can respawn at if you fall far enough, bc its really frustrating to get knocked off by a bat and them end up blocking the path so you have to shoot them until they die. But I think you did really a really nice job over all.
I liked this. the combat felt pretty good and I like the style. a few suggestions I'd have: no acceleration and deceleration movement, it was more frustrating than fun, I had similar issues in my earlier games. music loop felt short, maybe a longer track or multiple tracks that can cycle. and additions of sound affects would help combat feel a lot better.
But I love the arrow fire and the spinning, it overall felt very solid and fun to play.
fun game, even tho I was told to deliver the stars to the black hole, it did register to me that I needed to deliver the star to the black and sat confused for the first playthrough on why I wasn't getting points, buts that would be a me thing. UI is a bit lacking. Music and sprites were nice. Nice Game.
I like who smooth the controls were in this. like comments below, its not obvious at the beginning what you're suppose to shoot, and the the drones being invincible doesn't help. But I'd did like the the bullet hell aspect of the drones with the laser and being able to dodge through them. I get that its a computer A.I. boss, but the fact that its stationary allowed me to just hold down the mouse in the same spot and just worry about the laser, which made it easier than expect, not sure if that was the intention or not.
Pixel art and music was very solid.:)
