this was a nice little game that felt very different from the other ones I have been playing. I wish there was some way to check the measurements as I made a statue and then found out it was much bigger than requested. Overall it was an enjoyable little peaceful game, great job!

Nice game! it was nice to keep growing and eating others! It brings back the old snakeio kinda memories. We were considering to do something similar before choosing for something else but your implementation is spot-on, congrats!

This was a nice game to play it felt like a metroidvenia, which are game I absolutely love. The robot was super cute and the tools were also cool.

If I had to give some feedback, I would say that the button layout for PC was a bit unnatural, it felt strange to use x to jump instead of space or arrow up for example. Either way, it was a great submission, congrats!

This was a fun game to play, the style was awesome as well. This was a sweet take on the tower defense genre. The music was great, the art was great and the way you scale is awesome.

My only issue wwith this game was that sometimes it felt like I tried to drag a node and it was not shooting and that was getting annoying in stressful situations when you were getting attacked a lot.

Overall it was one of the better games I played this gamejam, good job!

This game was fun to play and the soundtrack was calm and soothing as well. I love that you added a highscore to the game as well. Great job!

This game was really fun to play. I loved the clunky controls and scaling the levels was a lot of fun. I think this game could really use some time spent per level so we can brag with our times in the comment section!

I loved the color palettes, 8-bitty soundtrack and the levels. Great job!

It was nice to play this little game. I played some other one that dealt with orbits and shooting from orbit to orbit. The one issue I have with this is that it is hard to plan your exact shot so it would be nice to have some 'direction' indicator. Also it would be nice to retry the last launch into space to not have to play the whole level anew. Maybe its just my skills that hold me back though.

For the rest, the music, the art and the idea were all fun and it was a nice take on the scaling theme! Congrats on your submission.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it!
Yeah we don't really understand the random (or maybe not so random) crashes, as we all had different experiences. For me the crash consistently happened after the third level, while for others they could play the whole game without issues.

You're right about the cumbersome..ness? the plan was indeed to make something that requires you to make choices on what you are focusing on. We barely even made levels to explain all the skills!
Once again, thanks for playing and for your feedback!

I love the tower defense genre (which is why we made something similar), I like the implementation of different towers. I don't know if it was just me, but sometimes it felt like the towers were not building when I tried to place them. Also it would be nice to see multiple maps, but of course you were limited in time (as we all were). Congrats on your submission!

No worries! It's a gamejam submission, it's not meant to be perfect, we know it all too well for our own game as well! Still enjoyable and nicely implemented!

nice implementation of the theme! The artwork is simple but effective. I think this is one of the few games I played that implements the built to scale theme well. great job!

This was a fun little game. The implementation of the theme was hilarious . Of course I didn't read the description and got killed on my first playthrough. I loved the style and who wouldn't want to be a chicken?

Nice tower defense style game! I like the happy tune and the cute art. I did have some trouble sometimes getting my button clicks to register, and I didn't know how to build towers (just when they get dropped by enemies or is there another way?) In my first 2 tries my waves didn't spawn any other shooters. Either way, nice submission!

Congrats on your submission! I was really struggling with the controls however, but regardless, nice take!

I like the music of your submission. It would be more challenging if the towers actually had some build time before placing so you can't just wait to see where the danger is coming from and making it more strategic. Also because there's no damage indicator it was unclear what upgrading the towers really did, as it seemd to me upraded towers were weaker and also filled more space on your 'board'. Overal, congrats on your submission!

haha no worries, that's all part of the jam! still, well done!

Thanks for your feedback! Indeed due to time there was no way to implement something more engaging than this. We didn't think about a button to speed up in-game time so you don't have to wait so long, but that would've been a great addition, thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for your feedback! Some of us had similar problems (like me) and other never had this problem, it could be browser related,  which browser are you using if I may ask?

Thanks for your feedback! Indeed we were planning so much more but ran out of time for more levels to really showcase more the different mechanics for puzzles. Also we would've want to add something to actually think about what you're doing instead of just spamming minions until you win, but unfortunately! Thanks for playing once again!

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing! Actually you could see the whole map if you pressed 'tab'. Theres a text explaining it in the second level, but maybe indeed you missed it. Would we have more time we would add more levels and also try to introduce these mechanics and/or buttons in a better, smoother way. Appreciate your feedback!

Nice little platformer and nice take on the scaling theme. I also loved that the thanks for playing screen is not even the last level! congrats on your submission!

Nice little game I like the concept of combining airbubbles together to make a bigger one. Overal the music fits the game and the style is also nice. Congrats on your submission!

Nice little game and nice take on the ragegame genre (I'm assuming that's what you were going for cause some of those jumps were rage inducing!). I love the artstyle and the music in the game. There were some minor bugs (for example the scale would still throw you up even if you were no longer on it) but in general the game was fun to play! Congrats on your submission!

I really love the art style you used. This island vibe is really cool. I did have some trouble understanding what was going on and what the items did. Also I felt like the R 'eat' button was the use button? I got a bit confused there. Anyway congrats on your submission!

I had some issues with the framerate when playing in browser, which could of course be my problem. In general I like the idea of your game and I like the futuristic style you made. Either way congrats on your submission!

I think this game works best at 2 players and for that I think it might be a good game. I'm not sure if I'm just good or the computer AI is bad, but it seemed easy to win. Either way, good submission!

The game doesn't seem to be starting in my chrome browser. It just stays black

Nice little platformer, I love you you made levels to be cleared with the robot in different 'scales'. Also the face of the robot showing the directionbutton you are pressing is a nice little touch.
Congrats on your submission!

Nice little game! I like how the game sometimes forces you to make an decision about what to kill as you can't always get through the village without some sacrifices. Nice submission and nice art!

Fun little game to play with a simple concept. I like the sometimes clunkyness of the controls as it fits the style in my opinion. Good job!

Nice game, it was fun to play although the 3rd level was a bit annoying if you missed your first shot as you had no way to make the golf ball go around the earth slower or faster. Then the rotation of the asteroid belt made it impossible to score and you had to wait another round.
It would be nice to get some sort of an indicator where you are shooting as the orbiting makes it a bit hard to precisely shoot where you want it, and especially when there's small margins it can be difficult.

Overall the game was fun to play!

I loved playing your game.

I think the soundtrack is really nice and fits the style. I also like how you make this almost more of a puzzle game than a platform game by giving you just enough HP to cast spells to clear the level. The animations look amazing and the levels are also really nice.

I would like to know how many Zackavelli's there are though, a counter for example would help. Because let's be honest, no Zackavelli deserves to be locked up in a cage!

Looking forward to your games in upcoming jams!

Nice, very polished game!

The game looks really nice and I can learn a lot from your visual touch. The soundtrack was nice, being told I suck was not bad either.

I did have some trouble really controlling the paddle with my mouse and getting positioned correctly under the ball, but that can also totally be my skill. Also, for me the sounds was a bit too loud and I'd like to be able to put the volume down a bit, because the soundtrack itself was great.

Great job!

Thank you so much for playing and commenting on my game!

I was indeed considering to include some sort of tutorial, but it got cut off due to time (and maaaybe a little bit of interest). I was also considering ramping up the different enemy times, but ultimately I just wanted to start this first game with a '5 minutes of fun' kinda idea.

The 'sticking' on the wall part was actually a bug, but I liked the way it acted so I left it in. It also seems okay for a bat/vampire to be able to stick to walls.

Really appreciate the feedback!

Thank you so much for your (really helpful and insightful) reply!

Your feedback really is a good reminder that things that you design might be perceived differently by your players!
You can for example eat each of the enemies, but only after you defeated them. The snakes herein are sort of an exception as they die on contact without hurting you.

Tutorials and juice (and some sort of boss battle) were in the 'outside of my league - for now' part of this jam, but I'll definitely look into those in upcoming jams. Also I do know that balancing is still pretty off in this game.

Thank you so much for playing and commenting!
