Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at it again in the future heres the vod timestamped to your game
(also ive been looking for more music to add to my music system to play on my streams. Are you fine if I add the music from this game into that? (pops up on the bottom left corner with the artist + song name when it starts playing and would be in the streams themselves and videos I make from it))
Thanks so much again for playing! And that would be incredible to have my music on stream :D Is there anything you'd need me to do to make that happen? Thanks again
Should be able to get the music myself so don't think so. Is there a preferred way youd want your name to show up for the credits
Oh great! I don't really mind, anyway you'd like to do it is completely fine :)
Very fun game! Loved the style. Some feedback is that the wrap around sections were a large difficulty spike.
This is a fun platformer, although frustrating when you fall quite far.
Very good execution! The game is very fun and the levels are well designed. Only thing that I think may improve the experience is maybe a bit more leeway in the wrap-around or wall jumping parts :)
Finished it in one session. Such a solid, fun game. Awesome job!
Really fun game. You do need to get used to the limited control you have over the character because the game is played with just one button.
I found the section in the lower section where there were a lot of holes a bit annoying (Constantly falling to the bottom). Also there I could fall 2 screens down, but the camera only drops by 1.
Lastly I got stuck where there are balls rolling around. One fell into hole with the launch pad, I jumped in right after, and now I can't move, the other ball is also stuck. This seems to be a softlock.
Ahah, I love one button games :) I work in a video games school and this is one the projects that is given to students during their first year.
Anyway, good job on that. The concept works perfectly. It's fun. The difficulty is well scaled. You have a few interesting mechanics that allow you to create nice level design elements. Some of them are a bit underused, but it's ok, it's a jam and good LD takes an incredible amount of time and playtest.
Well done.
Thanks so much! I had plans to flesh out a few of the mechanics a bit more (for example I wanted to do more with the bowling ball enemy and make the final area longer and combine more of the previous elements), but as jams go, time ran out. Glad you enjoyed!
Really fun little game! Very smooth mechanics! Nice job!
Thanks a bunch for playing!
Completed it in 5:30 minutes with 3/7 bananas. I had a blast! The controls are so simple but intuitive, and the level design is on point. Hats off to you, excellent work!
So glad you had fun! An impressive time :D Thanks so much for playing
Really fun! I especially love the music, and it's crazy impressive that you did everything yourself. The movement feels very polished - I did wish sliding down walls was just a touch faster in a couple spots, but that's a really minor thing.
Thank you for the kind words I really appreciate it! I agree that bit needs a bit of work, Im working on a bit of an updated version post jam to polish out that and a couple of other blips. Thanks again for playing :)
Good art and game, had fun(rage).
Thanks for enjoying :D
Nice game , I really liked it. I can see the inspiration from rage games (getting over it kinda stuff) and I love it!
Thanks a bunch for playing! Glad you liked it
A very fun, polished, and unique game. I got a time of 5:04 but didn't get all the bananas sadly. :(
That's a pretty good time! thanks for playing :) I'm sure the bananas you missed are somewhere nice enjoying not being eaten so don't worry about it haha
Nice game! It feels very polished, I also love the cut scenes, well done! :)
Thanks so much! Appreciate it :)
Simple, but fun concept with great implementation.
The gameplay felt great and the music and art made it a fitting experience!
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks so much for playing :D
Very fun take on a Jump King like game! I did have an issue where if you hit a corner just right, you clip a few pixels in and have to either wait for a drop off or restart the game because it will not let you jump. Other than that, extremely polished and I appreciated that none of the drops were total resets :D
Yeah that's a really unfortunate bug, I'll be looking into fixing it as soon as the jam is over for sure. Thanks for playing!
Great game feel. Movement and graphics feels very polished. A short but fun climb.
Thanks for Playing :D
Couldn't get all the nanas :(
Very enjoyable game. It would be nice to add an input to instantly drop from a wall so the player doesn't have to wait for the ball to drop.
OMG I can't believe I didnt think of that. I found that annoying too but it didnt put 2 + 2 together, thanks for the idea! rn it can be like watching a very boring New Years celebration lol
Did not expect the seamless roll from side to side. Was fighting for my life for a moment there, haha. Thank you for having "guard rails" at certain points or else I'd roll right back to the bottom. Great work, especially as a solo dev!
As a nitpick, the text coloring on the game page is hard to read against the blue background.
Thank you so much! My goal when designing the levels was to make it possible to make it all the way back down to the bottom even from the very top in case the player wanted to go look for a banana or something without being too punishing for missed jumps, and along the way it took quite a while to strike that balance so I'm glad it payed off :)
I definitely get what you're saying with the blue text, I was in quite a rush at that point in time haha, I might just go back and change that when I get the chance
Thanks again! happy you enjoyed
