I like the music.
Fun concept and well executed!

The cat is a tyrant

Kinda hard, but it seems like you can always stack at the anchor point and it will go up pretty high

Thank you for playing! Seems to be a consensus that it's difficult to tell which doors are which, which was slightly intended but I can change!

Mrs. Mano must be so lucky

I really love this idea. Drawing on the map to navigate was super cool
I do think there are some bugs in resetting the ink and such, also I would like some UI for which way the sails are facing as it was a bit tough to steer.
Art is great though
Well done!

Thanks for the feedback! I am definitely not an artist haha so needless to say minimal time was spent there.
I may go back and clean things up a bit! I appreciate the comment

Growing and scaling was neat! Sound design was good as well

Movement speed is incredibly slow and tedious. It took forever just to cross a room and when small it takes twice as long it seems. So I'd recommend ramping that up and scaling velocity with size so speed is consistent.

Art budget must have been crazy

Seriously love the style. It would have been cool for the "Build" section to have been unlockable, or use the coins gained to get new weapons and such instead of having everything accessible at start
Great submission!

Love the art and night time vibe.

As others have said the framerate plummets after the 2nd upgrade and I don't think it's possible to reach the next spot. I would like to see the rest of the game though!

This was cute! The music is fun and it's a simple little game.

I would recommend a secondary way to make money as you can run out if you buy the shoes at 10 and get stuck without money.

Good job! I liked the bean boss

I really love the art and post processing. Reminds me of old school flash games.

Definitely potential here with some more levels and adjusting some physics things. Often if I was on top of the block in the last level it would just roll around with me.

I also noticed the numbers indicating your max/current scale will max out when you get a new pickup, so that was a bit confusing for me at first trying to figure out how much scale I had left.

Overall nice entry!

Interesting idea.
I couldn't figure out the controls for changing size and had to go back to the menu to check. Recommend a tutorial level or putting them in the itch description.
I also had to restart as I was playing with changing size and ran out of morphs.

Very cool idea! I would've enjoyed a few more levels but I understand time constraint.
Controls weren't super intuitive to me personally, would've enjoyed maybe using WASD for one ball and arrow keys for the other, but that's just me being picky
Nice entry!

This is a really cool idea! I would like to see this expanded in other ways other than outlining objects

I loved this. Really unique puzzle mechanic!
Building different shapes to get to new platforms was great level design.
I did come across a few bugs just to note: Not sure if it's intended but I was able to attach diagonally to a single block a few times, also I got a big tower of blocks stuck in a wall when trying to jump and re attach.
Awesome game though nice work!

I love the atmosphere and art. It really makes you feel like a little human jumping in space.

If I could add one thing it would be checkpoints. I felt like I made pretty good progress then had to restart all the way from the beginning.

Other than that nicely done!

Thank you for the comment and the kind words!
I may or may not expand on this in the future as I was pretty happy with the portals as well.
Who knows! Thanks for trying it out though

Really cool take on the "Scale" theme
I wasn't able to get through the first part without dying so perhaps slow down the kill zone or make it bigger

Recommendation for movement control also is add some coyote time as often I'd just fall off the start instead of jumping when I wanted.
I love the scale builder though! Nice work

Thanks so much for playing and commenting! I had considered changing colors for doors to indicate but I wondered if that would make it too easy or straightforward looking.
I appreciate the feedback!

Hey! Just wanted to chime in as the programmer and level designer and say thanks for your very detailed feedback!
That specific spot you mentioned seemed to give a lot of players trouble and it's safe to say I got a bit carried away with the difficulty as Celeste is one of my favorite games. Moving forward we'd like to shy away from that very difficult and technical platforming style. Others have mentioned your frustration as well with there not being much room for error and having to start at the very beginning of the level sequence.
I'm glad you were able to complete it despite your frustrations. As previously stated we have fine tuned the controls to a great degree since uploading for the jam so hopefully you'll give it another shot in a little while when the jam ends!
Regarding combat a theme we really wanted to incorporate was "energy" of the music, so landing hits on beat increases the level of instruments and brings more life to the track, however it is agreed that this could be executed better or achieved in a different way without timed attacks.
You give some very good insight into "what type of game is this supposed to be" and is the exact question we are asking ourselves moving forward.
So thank you so much for the feedback! It is extremely helpful
Cheers

Really enjoyed this! The enemies are tough to avoid but it seems well put together. Nice job!

Thanks for reporting that. Glad you played our game too!
Trying very hard to replicate that bug but are unable to do so.

Thanks you so much for the feedback! We plan on adding gamepad support in the future as we didn't have enough time this run.

That is quite an odd bug that we haven't experienced. If you have any steps to replicate that would be very appreciated!

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback! We will definitely be adding a bit more direction and explanation in the starting area. Sounds like you were on the right track!

Hey there! Programmer on this game. So unfortunately we had a few render targets mess up towards the end of the jam. But a few tips for the portal system - temporary disable occlusion culling, and also give the player camera a cut the same tick as the teleport. That will make them look as seamless as possible! It was a fun project for sure!

Very creative! Loved the idea and the "visual scripting" pokes.
