Absolutely adorable! I could watch these little guys go all day!
Such a great take on the theme. I don't actually think I've played a similar jam game so far. I found the controls slightly confusing and did spend a bit of time just sort of spamming clicks to try and make sense of what was happening, but the beeples are so cute and the music is so sweet that this didn't really upset me, especially given that a lot of joy was derived from just watching them go about their day. Very cute game! Well done <3
cute presentation, I like the 3D/2D pixel style. I think the game has too slow of a start, it took me forever to even find any of my 4 beeples. I think instead of needing selecting specific units, it would have been nice to just pick the nearest one to go do a task. the world is big enough that I think starting with 10 would be better, since the main enjoyment of the game is watching the beeples go about their business, but in the beginning you're mostly watching an empty world.
That's fair! I wish we had had more time to polish up and balance the main level, as we were only able to get it all pulled together on Sunday. We even initially only had 3 Beeples until I bumped it up to 5 like an hour before submission since 3 was waaaaay too slow, lol
Wow, this was a very nice game! I loved the relaxing gameplay and the presentation was just absolutely stunning. A very good game overall!
Love the unique art style and the interesting gameplay mechanic. Great work!
A nice and casual pikmin-esque type of game, it's nice to just chill and see how the AI moves around. Would definitely like to see this expanded more as I am a huge fan of sim games. Congrats on finishing the jam !
Controlling the camera was really smooth and it was fun retrieving the different objects. I enjoyed the music and characters as well. Some visual feedback on the right-click/task assignment might make it a bit easier to know where exactly you're sending the corralled beeples. Awesome job!
Such a nice relaxing artsy experience. I adored the menu design you went after, it was so inspiring! Great entry!
Really love this game, very relaxing to just watch the ai run around and play the game, the art is really nice to look at although sometimes it's a little hard to see the small coins and stuff but really nice game for the time you had.
Very impressive concept! Art and presentation are also enjoyable! Cool game :)
Wow it realy cool idea. I`m lovely your art!
lovely artwork! Beep! Most of the time I didn't know what todo... so i spammed clicks.... Maybe I misread something but, the controls were unclear or not precise. Beep!
yeeeeeeeeaaaaahhh, the controls made sense in my head so I never set aside time to actually explain them in game, lol. Glad you could still find some enjoyment though!
I love the little details you put into the AI (like them getting hungry and such). Really unique idea and supa cute.
Thanks for noticing! <3 A large majority of my time (honestly like 60-70%) during the jam was spent on the AI, but it was Summer who wrote the various thoughts (there's 3 variations on every possible action!)
Really cute and delightful, loved it!
I was a bit confused by what the red cylinder did because they didn't seem to go to it, but my beeples ended up finding it so worked out either way!
Ah yeah the red cylinder simply selects units, but it won't interrupt their current tasks. If I had more time, I probably would have changed that to automatically interrupt so they respond more quickly :P
This was different and unexpected! I didn't understand what I was doing until I did, and than I didn't once more, and finally I did haha ^^ I've particularly enjoyed the art style and the palette, it was quite relaxing.
It's curious in a good way :) Nice !
nice art and sound.
but a little bit annoying
Neat game, reminds me of Pikmin in a way. While the use of the theme is a bit lazy, it was entertaining to play and the presentation is amazing: the colors are very pleasing, the simple music loop is hypnotic and the sounds are just cute.
