How does your game fit the theme?
After digging down into the bottom the mountain, there is a cave-in and you have to start digging a new path from scratch.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I made everything. I used two music tracks which I made previously but everything else was made this week for the jam.

Nice dig for treasure game.  Game proves that it's easier to go down; digging back out takes a lot more effort.

A couple area to consider if you plan to continue to develop the game: I think it would have been nice to have a mobile shop.  I don't think most people dig down and climb back up to go train skills.  Since you've already shown us the big gem goal, I bet most (like me) continue to dig and not backtrack away to go train.  Perhaps some of the gems could become visible once you start breaking the tile.  This would give some chance for 'reward' on any dirt block even if you don't go toward the visible gems.  It's funny how the gems are still a micro incentive, even if you don't bother to go train skills.  The game may have felt a little better to play if you can hold left mouse down to keep digging.

I liked that you allowed the pickaxe to hit multiple blocks at once.

good submission.

VERY addicting miner game!!! I had some much fun playing this one, and I was not expecting that ending. Really got me on my nerves.... just wished something had chased after me 😋

Great entry to the jam!! Nice work

Never got to buy any  upgrades lol. Scared the crap out of me after grabbing the big ruby, I did not expect what happened! Great job :D

Developer

Yeah, upgrades are optional but recommended. Sorry Not Sorry for scaring you, the game is called "Collapse" for a reason. Thanks for playing!

Soothing music, lots of clicking until upgrades, Cool game

Well that was quite unexpected, I loved the twist towards the "end" of the game. Getting those upgrades was quite fun, really cool digging game!

Creative use of the theme to make the end of the level the beginning, well done.

the art was great, and the moment you collect the diamond took me off guard and was really well made

...There's something suspicious about the title to this game...

The game is very satisfying when you get some upgrades .I think the begging of the game is kind tedious but it gets better.

Really satisfying game I had a nice time digging after resources. Like others mentioned the ability to hold down to mine would have been nice but overall I enjoyed it. Good work :)

Cool game, I especially liked the part where you collect the big gem. I also think there was too much clicking, but it was good!

Submitted(+1)

My hand hurts from the clicking, I don't know if it's intentional. :D If not, maybe you could let the player hold the mouse button? Otherwise nice submission!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback. The clicking was intentional to encourage paying for more strength upgrades, but your suggestion will be taken into consideration.
