Excellent. Reminds me of 2048. Could play for hours.

I love this. I don't think clicking faster helps anyways, but I found myself trying to get as many replies in as possible. I wish there was a reply counter.

Haha, yes. There's nowhere to go after the middle, so makes sense you got stuck. Thanks for the compliments! We didn't finish the game, but it's nice to hear what we did finish was good.

Thank you for your kind words :)

It's okay, I don't understand it either. And I made the thing! Thank you for the compliments :)

Thanks for the feedback mate :) I'm afraid we ended up not coming close to our goal with the game, and so we just threw a basic level with no end just to test all the mechanics. There really isn't something to do after falling to the other platform hehe.

I really like the concept of this game. Like someone said, it could make for a wonderful little mobile game. The camera movement needs some work, as things change rotation when I hold them and the camera starts moving.  Also I'd love to have R to restart and Spacebar to go to the next level. Having to use the mouse means I need to click and then move back to the things that need grabbing, which wastes precious fractions of a second I could use to better align the objects.
But yeah, over all I like it a lot and it could be a really nice mobile game or online game. Well done :)

Absolutely love it. I tried timing the first jetpack jump by trial and error, but then I discovered that the robot goes down before jumping, which is a wonderful way of adding anticipation and therefore control to the character. Sound was good, levels were fun and challenging, having an end and start screen is great. Overall really well made game.

I love this little game, though I have a bunch to say.
Firstly, some of the less good stuff. The fact that there's a lag between holding fire and firing is very unintuitive. If that's the point, and is a mechanic in the game, then that's cool. If not however, that's something that makes the game feel unresponsive.
Secondly thing is the constant jump. The jump should really only be triggered on keypress, or else if I'm holding space (because that means I'll jump higher of course (; ) I can end up jumping when I didn't want to.
Thirdly, if I press left and right together it goes right, instead of cancelling each other. Small thing, but something to look for when playtesting.
Fourthly, adding even some basic music or even just sound effects would make the game more impactful.
Lastly, I sort of forgot I can rearrange the keys until reading the comments here, so making some sort of in game reminder would be cool.
I know, it's only 48 hours, and for the time, this game is certainly great. All those nitpicks are certainly that, nitpicks. And that's because I absolutely love this game! The platforming is great. The jump feels very good, the speed and acceleration of the character feel great, the shooting is fun, despite the delay, and the fact that the bullets are kinda slow would make it interesting when adding moving enemies. I just wish we had a few more levels to play, but thanks for the level we got, and I hope to see you expand on this game some more in the future :)

At first we considered increasing the player speed the more drunk he gets, but it made for unwieldy character control, so instead we decided his sway would be at constant speed but with each beer the time he sways increases.
Others have also suggested implementing a drunk animation to show his movement, so we'll definitely take this into consideration moving forward. Thanks a lot for your comment and feedback, and for playing our game :)

Thanks! We actually liked the difficulty of it, we wanted a challenging game. But we certainly got a lot of feedback that it's too hard, so we'll look into balancing.

Nice relaxing game. I think the biggest reason people aren't playing is the download size. Other than that I think people will enjoy it when they download :)

Hehe, it's a challenging game, but I found it worth sticking out to the end.

Killed 1316 enemies.
Survived for 1235 Seconds.
BEAT ME!

Love the game, and the idea of it. To make it more challenging maybe try increasing the enemies' speed ever so slightly over time. Also some kind of kill number or high score at the top would be great, just to get that sense of accomplishment.
Really like the game. Thanks for making it :)

Great game and great concept. My only gripe with the game is that there isn't more of it. I love the sound design, the simple graphics, and the gameplay and puzzle solving. Do note though that there are two levels that seems very complex but all I had to do is shoot the milk to finish them.
Wonderful.

Quite a long intro. Might try having us play a level before all the talk, to get us more invested into the game. Also for me left click didn't work so I had to use "E" to do the meter filling.
I love the graphics though, and I really appreciate that the meters stay filled to where you got them instead of resetting. It makes it a lot more fun to play.

A bit tricky to find the cats when they hide behind buildings. Also the game page is too big, I had a side scroll bar, and that's never good :) What I can say though is that the moment the game finished loading and the music started I had a giant grin on my face.

If you'd added a mechanic to just throw these people over the wall I'd love the game so much more

🤭

Same!

So... Best game I've played so far. The only thing I have against it is how I can't select the next move until the entire fourth beat plays out, and then it feels as if I'm pressing and it doesn't register, even if I already jumped. Other than that though, boy is this a fun game! Challenging, requires timing as well as planning moves ahead, and I just love the entire concept and how it plays out. I'm super impressed and surprised that you don't have more people commenting!
Fantastic game. Thank you thank you thank you!

Hey mate. Nice idea, I just didn't know where I'm supposed to go so I don't quite get the point of the game. Love the sound though, certainly gets the blood pumping!

I find it slightly odd that the character dies from hitting just anything. Sometimes he just dies for no apparent reason. Other than that I like the game and the concept of it, and the controls (which I couldn't figure out initially) are actually quite fun to use when you understand how they work.

I love the base mechanic of the game, but the amount of controls needed are a bit difficult and unintuitive, for instance having shift and enter to repair the magic means I need to use the mouse hand, which I'm using for attacking.
The most glaring issue I find with the game is that there's no reward for playing. No progress bars or flashy "You've been promoted" or kill counts, which makes it hard to want to fight off the monsters.
Love the graphics though, and as I said the mechanic itself of repairing your movement ability is really nice.

Thanks for the feedback. Very much appreciated :)

Thanks very much for the comment :)
We'll take it into consideration for the sway, frankly we just didn't have the time to do more.

Hehe, cheeky.

Honestly, I don't know. When switching to HTML in GameMaker I suppose something went wrong with sprite naming. Thanks for the response :)

Oh boy, such a well fleshed out game!
But having a fighting game when I'm all alone just makes me sad ;)
For critiques, I'd say it's hard to estimate the projectiles' location, it'd be nice to have a shadow on the ground or something. Also the tutorial is quite a big amount of text to get into before starting the game, and to be honest I still have no clue what the cards are doing 😅
The biggest and most serious problem with the game however, is that losers is spelled loosers, hehehe.
Seriously though, apart from those issues it's a great little game, and the variety of guns and other, various weapons, you made is impressive. Also I really love the art in the game.
Thanks :)

Thank you for the suggestions :)
I'm not sure what you mean by alerts, if you'd explain it I'd very much appreciate it.  There is some hidden lore, but I believe there's a bug in one level that prevents you from reaching the end :( I'll link a video in a comment when I fix it, I don't think I can change the game now or I'd be breaking the rules.

Fun game! I'd like the camera movement to be more smooth and more in line with the car. There are many times where I'm about to put a plank somewhere and the camera jumps to the next location, causing trouble.
Thanks for sharing :)

Only one level, which is a bit of a shame because I loved it. I've been playing for a while now. The polish on the game is great, and it feels like a well made package. I'm sure if you add more levels later on it'll make an even better game.
Thanks for uploading :D

Thank you!
We ran out of time before we could get a proper background and some nicer stuff in game. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! :)

I like the idea and the visuals. The character feels so slow, I feel like having a ! bubble above my head just like the customers, hehe.
One thing I don't understand is what's the incentive to drink in the game? Note that I only played the web version, so there might be some mechanic that didn't work.
Anyways, love the game :)
