I spent way too much time playing this game trying to beat my previous time. I have not yet mastered steering, but it was a lot of fun!

I really liked the look of the main menu. Over all very enjoyable game, though the font was a bit hard to read sometimes

A juicy game you gave here! The graphics, effects and sounds are really satisfying. Will be glad to see if you will extend the gameplay possibilities, like a bigger map with islands, maybe some more complicated ship movement patterns. Good luck!

Loved this entry! It's extremely polished as others have said, and I loved trying out all the different upgrades (extra cannons were my favourite lol). I would have like to have see some more stuff popping up in the sea, maybe different kinds of ships, or mermaids that offer bonuses etc. But obviously those are things that can be added later, overall this was a really amazing job for 72 hours :)

Cool concept, had fun !

Very unique game. Love the way it works. Felt like I couldn't kill the other ships that well, but that probably is to make it so the player isn't immediately good. Also I like the upgrades. We did similar things with it lol

Love the concept and gameplay. i did feel a bit underpowered at first. A full game with pvp would be super fun im sure!

Cool game! As others have said, a little too much HP on enemies but otherwise the game is pretty well balanced and fun to play.  Love the pirate theme. Very good amount of polish, too. Nice job!

I wanted to play the game, but it's not working on my browser and I  only have a macbook.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I only tested it using firefox... Maybe your browser (guessing safari) has some compatibility issue... Anyway, sorry for not providing an executable for Mac :D

Actually using chrome. My mac just ain't built  for gameplay :'(

This game is so good, but like others have already said, enemies are too resistent. Art and music are gorgeous, but some red interferences sometimes appear in the sea.

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback! I have never encountered the red stuff in the sea, but I could imagine the water being randomly too shallow :D for the resistances I see your (and others) point, but I think since the game has upgrades (although limited by time) I think the game has to start harder and becomes easier the more ships you sink ;) I will note it for the next jam tho!

Whata game, great stuff! All the details where there, I loved the effects the most! great game!

This game has an absurd level of polish; it's incredible that something like this was made in just three days. It's amazing, a very good entry. It reminds me of a game called Shipped. This game is very well done; I loved the gameplay and art style. A winning entry!

Amazing level of polish.  The art, music, and sound effects were excellently selected.

There is a lot of button mashing, this could have been limited by using cooldown timers and slowing down the game play.  It was still a lot of fun though and I played for a while.  Great job.  5/5

Developer

Thanks for your lovely feedback! I'm wondering a bit at which point you had to mash the buttons? :) The ship keeps firing as fast as it can if you just hold down the right mouse button and movement is slow anyway, so quickly changing target positions does not help anyway :D no offense tho, just curious ;)

Submitted(+1)

I didn't realise the ship keeps firing, so I just spammed the attack button.  By slowing down, I meant that the cannons would fire slower.

cool game great job overall!

I like the aesthetic of the game and it took me some time to manage to hit another ship :D

So good! Simple yet effective.

Super fun game that's nostalgic of Sid Meire's Pirates! I had a blast playing this one and I'm impressed by the content and polish that got packed into it in 3 days.

really neat idea to use the buttons the way you did! it felt like a natural way to play this kind of game. my one feedback would be that the cursor took up a very large portion of the screen on web which made it a little more difficult to play. great job overall!

Developer

Thanks for your comment and the feedback! Did you play the game in fullscreen mode? I think that should help a bit with the size of the cursor, but I do see the problem, which is definitely not how it looked while developing in unity :D

Submitted(+1)

err well, honestly I kinda avoid full screen mode because I have an ultra-wide and most games (my own developed games included) get really borked up on it. aaand yep, I know what you mean about browser != in engine LOL. thanks for the experience, I enjoyed it!
