Like it!

Haha, it feels like you wanted to make a runner.

The impact feels bad, and the collisions between the enemy and the character.

I almost reached the end, but somehow I died :(

I like the art, and some of the animations, it seems like it has potential if you add a little more.) Good job.

A bit basic and confusing. I don't understand well when the statues begin to attack me, or why the screen turns gray when they do so.

It's fun, and a good effort. Nice work.

Developer

Hey there! Thanks for the feedback! 😊 I intentionally went for the simplest, most basic gameplay, but I ran out of time to polish the details and make crushing enemies feel truly satisfying. I only managed to get the core in place to at least work a little on the atmosphere.

Great concept and gameplay. Also i have a proble with understanding when i will get a damage. it will be better with some attack animation for monsters!

Thanks for the feedback! 😊 I get it—I just didn’t have time to finish the impact effect when taking damage

Those hits are JUICY! The hit boxes could use a bit of fine tuning I managed to win with 3 hp lol. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I really wanted the whole essence of the game to come down to satisfying hits

As some others have already said, it's a good concept, but there needs to be more feedback to the player. The only way I could tell I was taking damage was from seeing my actual health go down, though I think the screen got more gray when I was damaged. It's also a bit hard to tell if a statue is in range of the pickaxe, or how close before it wakes up. It currently feels impossible to hit a statue without getting hit yourself.

Developer

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I had absolutely no time for fine-tuning, so yeah, the impact definitely has issues. If I had a couple more hours, I’d at least add proper attack animations for the enemies instead of just dealing damage on a trigger—lol

It feels great to sweep a bunch of monsters with one strike, but it’s hard to tell when you take damage. I only noticed the counter after a moment. The lack of a restart button hurts a little bit, but it’s not all bad, as it loads pretty quickly. Not bad at all :)

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the satisfaction of destruction because I played your game too, and I can see that you really know how to nail that feeling!

The perfect game after a stressful day. I think the game lacks the sound of receiving damage. and sometimes it is not clear if the pickaxe will reach the enemy

Thanks for playing! 😊

Fun game and nice particles effects ! Smashing those enemies is very satisfying

Developer(+1)

I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the enemy destruction!

Really liked it actually. Never played anything like it before tbh. Would love it there was more complexity to the environment so that one had to sneak more and choose from multiple paths. I kinda cheesed it a bit by just hugging the left wall and going forward until i trigger the next statues. Wish there was some more open areas where if careful one could avoid triggering any while making their way through a group of statues.

Developer

Ideally, I would have done it the way you describe, but considering the time limitations, it ended up being a simpler prototype. The plan was to have partial level generation so that you couldn’t just walk along one side. Maybe one day I’ll return to something like this in one of my future games. Thanks for playing!

It looks weird but in a good way
I reached the end with one HP 😅

The concept is there but it lacks some more feedback of what is going on during the game.

Thanks for the feedback! 😊 Let’s be honest: this prototype is missing a lot of things! But I’m glad there was something you liked about it. Also, I think if you managed to push through with the last bit of health, I must be doing okay with the difficulty balance—haha

It was hard to tell when / why I was being damaged, some animations on the enemies would really help
I liked the weapon swinging and hitting multiple enemies at once
With more speed and powerups or something it could be a pretty cool game

Developer

Thanks for playing! Honestly, I don’t plan to further develop this concept

Good atmosphere,  fun enemy kills

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback, it really motivates me!
