How does your game fit the theme?
The bird teleports the player although it is uncontrollable, so it's joined together telepathically :)

Loved the music and how it was integrated into the game (how it changed near enemies). I'm also a sucker for 80's synths.
I also really enjoyed the deflecting and time slowing mechanics.
However, the hoverboard could have used some better movement mechanics (felt a little clunky), and the bird was hard to use (didn't feel like a core element of the game).
The audio and visuals were exceptional. Good job making this!
wow people actually noticed the vertical music.. Thanks! ya I know the mechanics a bit floaty but I didn't have time to refine stuff cuz the main gameplay loop was finished like an hour before the deadline
The bird mechanic felt really confusing and difficult to get the hang of, but the hoverboard gameplay, the aesthetic, and sound design was on point and I really loved that. Nice work!
A bit confusing, and the instructions are a bit confusing. Maybe introduce the various mechanics bit by bit so it’s easier to keep track of it. The game looks great, though!
Controls are a bit jank, visuals are pretty amazing! Good stuff!
"controls pretty jank but visuals pretty dank" would have rhymed tbh.. Thanks tho
Really cool visuals !!
It's an awesome game :)
You got my rating
awesome game with great visual and a good cyberpunk easter egg.
Thanks! I see what you did there lol
great visuals, but you know that. I found some issues with the game, I would have liked the sword to always slash instead of just when your near an enemy, as I had no idea how to deal with the first soldiers. But I thought it was a really well made game with a great idea attached to it.
Thanks! spent most of my time (in the game engine) on visuals and didn't leave time for unexpected bugs.. ya when I added that sword swing, physics went wild and the player was falling down the hoverboard when trynna swing the sword.. It was really funny but it was still a bug and made the game a lot harder than it already is, so I had to remove that feature unfortunately
no problem, hope you don't mind giving feedback on my entry.
Epic graphics and great audio, waht can i say, its cool !
Visually very appealing as well as some nice audio presentation; the connection between player and bird is not really obvious I feel. Wobbly hoverboard physics were very funny though :)
If you had a bit of a giggle wobbling the guy around then it was worth it lol, thank you for your comments on the presentation <3
Thanks! Well there was a whole cutscene planned out where the bird leaves the player's shoulder but oh well.. its just 48 hours
Liked it, had problems controlling the little guy, but very impressive build for 48 hours!
We're really glad that you enjoyed it! Thank you!
really fun game, i had alot of fun playing it, good job
Thank you for taking the time to play it!
Excellent visuals and sound, the gameplay was a bit clunky and confusing at times though. Good game overall
Thank you! We didn't have the time to put a proper tutorial or prompts for the controls sadly!
5/5 presentation, gameplay is a bit basic, but smooth nonetheless. Kind of a stretch on the theme, but cool game!
Visuals and sound are amazing. I'm completely confused on the gameplay however - what am I supposed to do? There's no button prompts / controls mentioned? How do I attack enemies?
deflect bullets using left click.. also pls read the instructions on the itch page ..I didn't have time to put a tutorial in the game sry
