i would use some telegraphing on enemy attacks.  little animations or effects prior to shooting or what not.  the jump, even with 3 jumps, seems a little slow moving and almost limp. id speed that up a little, add a little extra height on the first jump anyways.  just a touch.

thx!  its just a option when you upload the game, where it has the resolution. there is a tick box for it :)   haha ya, the tutorial is rough. i put it in on the last day, and normally a pile of text as a tutorial right at the start is a bad method, but being a gamejam, time limit limited me. or I would of loved to feed that tutorial in slowly over time, mixed with the game itself.   its actually something I was worried about after submitting lol. i was like... damn, this is complex.  

a 3d would be pretty sweet,   if it does ok, maybe ill add on to it :)

thx very much.  ya. i had some bigger plans for the ending.  but I hadn't done anything for the ending with 9 hours left to go.  so the beginning UI video, and the ending, I had to create in just a few hours lol., and due to the theme isn't present without that ending. i was near panicked trying to squeeze it in haha.   I've done more with making pixel art in this 1 project, than all other pixel art, I've ever done.  so  it was a lot of fun.  and I learned soooo much

Thats a pretty neat idea with the racing and controlling the cars.   could totally see something like that get turned into a mobile game :)

in the build, the grappling hook rope line renderer isnt showing up?  

i dont own a phone, so on the discord, i cant verify to chat,  In the anoucements in discord, for a late submittal, i can send to a bot,  the bot just gives me a error...

thx.  Im not a artist either lol i mainly do code, but i do enjoy attempting the art. I had fun with the whole process.  Just wish i had like another 6 hours lol

haha ya.  downside of gamejams eh.  for me playing it. i knew where to go.  but it wasnt until i watched others play it. i was like ".... omg, i needed to add more guidance for players"  haha

thx.  ya it was a lot to do. textures, models, animations, sounds, coding. in such a short time.  i debated on adding in a bit of a check point system, but ran out of time :)  but thx much for the feed back its appreciated

has some beautiful art and lighting. the light ambient music is a nice touch for the feel.  some technical issues with clicking on things.   would of been nice to have just a lil text at the start with a breif discription or story

great music.  fluent controls, but it would be nice if the look was a lil more snappy.   having the power up was a nice touch. felt like progress.   the overall feel of the game gave a very retro feel.  well done. 

the story for it was done well. i wish at the end, you could just take a moment to enjoy everything put into the room instead of it instantly jumping to a complete screen.  small and short but done well

Some animations and walls i think would go along way.  music is nice

haha thx. Ya i had some other UI in there, but due to time restriction i wasn't able to add a few things so i ripped out the ui lol

was a lil confused at the start, but once i got going, it was really fun

i like the art and the feel it gives

well done, the controls feel pretty polished. 

i was quite surprise, this is actually really well done.  has music, sound, story, functional game, neat concept. great job

having any sound, even just a beep, would of been good. also a mechanic that was negative with the turn.  like fall damage,  its pretty easy to just spin the map and go.  took all the challange away

the interact isnt working for me?   i love the art tho
