cool game nice choice of music and art !
Really thought it was interesting in the fact that you don't directly control the car, but you speed up the cars you're focused on. Could grow, but with what it is now it reminds me of a mini-game
Fun little game. Its a casual game where you get to switch cars and change lanes. Nice bg music and sound effects.
This is a great concept! Lol I love how you have to make a "connection" theme game and your title is No Connection xD what a rebel.
The actual idea is pretty neat, I think if the level was longer so the player had more time, then it would make it more fun/easier to win.
Cool sound effects and music. The art style was not bad too. Overall nice game!
I really like your Intro and the concept is cool :)
maybe you could add some more things like obstacles or something after the Jam :)
Great little game. Keep it up!
Thanks! We have actually worked on obstacles, however, it was quite difficult to get the AI of the cars to work properly with them because there are so many edge cases (what happens if they can‘t switch lane and crash etc.) Therefore we couldn’t include it in the jam version…
Fun little game with a cool concept. Wish it was longer, though. Otherwise, great job!
Really cool concept, I do wish we were able to explore the idea a little more than we were able to.
Cool twist on a racing game. I wish there was more!
Fun game and nice concept. good use of sounds and great art well done on the submisison. i also won my first time im too good
Fun concept, well executed and I loved the art style. Nice Job!
Really liked the art and sound in the game which brought a really nice feel to the game and there was a good sense of speed to the moving cars. Awesome work! :)
really nice concept! Congratulations! good job!
Very fun concept, although it was very short and easy to win. I really likeed the art aesthetics and you could probably make som really fun gameplay and levels with it so I was a bit sad it wasn't longer, but I think apart from that it was well executed. Well done!^^
Thank you for your feedback! We sadly only had a single free day and couldn't expand on our idea, different levels with other cars would have been cool and we were also planning some power ups
oh, I see. Pretty impressive then to achive that in such short time.
Looks awesome and I won the race :)
A fun game but my car flew away in space after the finish line and sweared not to stop. I like the art and concept
thanks for your comment! That’s very interesting - did you use firefox? I played around 30 rounds to make sure there’s not a game breaking bug like that (but I‘ve made my own „physics“ system if you can call it that and the code of it is a mess) However, on Firefox the game is a bit broken for some reason. Still, flying away seems very weird to me as it shouldn’t allow for any vertical movement except the lane switching…
Anyway, thanks for your feedback!
No, I'm using Edge .No worries bro the game sometimes get bugs in browser or my internet is slow maybe. Nice concept by the way!
yeah yeah every game has some bugs and this one certainly has😅 I‘m just wondering how this one is possible as there is nothing in the code changing the Y height of the cars, especially not in the end cuz I‘m not even using any physics system but especially with browser games weird stuff can happen.
Good luck with your game as well!
Yeah! Make sure to check out my game. Any feedback is helpful.
a fun take on the theme. I really like the visuals on this one. Neat pixel art!
Its a little short but thats ok!
Thats a pretty neat idea with the racing and controlling the cars. could totally see something like that get turned into a mobile game :)
