I'm glad you liked it! My hat goes off to SebasRez. He did all the art, and made all the sprites for the animations. He even made it to where I could go further by animating the body of the monster as well, but just ran out of time. Definitely going to revisit this project. I was originally going to make it multiplayer too.
The sea monster looked fantastic, and despite the rather simple gameplay it definitely kept me playing. Some sort of timed upgrades (auto fire, big bullets, etc) would have added a lot, but with time constraints I get not having something like that. I quite enjoyed this, and look forward to seeing more from you!
Nice boss fight! I missed having auto fire in the game and it also felt a little easy as the boss only moved between 2 points in the first phase. I think adding increased speed or some randomness to the attacks before the second phase would have increased the difficulty and the fun. Good job though!
Nice game! The idea with the other town members stepping in when you die was really creative. Felt like an old-school bossfight. Great entry!

Very interesting concept! The game is simple yet fun. One suggestion would be to implement automatic fire: for any game that involves spammy shooting, being able to hold lmb rather than clicking it hundreds of time makes a huge difference in terms of QoL.
Great job! I really like how other people turn into the hero.
But I found that even after I lose all the people the hero will still generate from the middle so I can't actually lose this game, is that intended?
