Really impressive for just learning pixel art, there's already a lot there! the combat was alright, the vfx was pretty satisfying. Nice work!

I love the variation in sound effects! The shooting was hilariously badass, I loved you could shoot behind you with one arm. I did feel like the level is slightly too dark. Your pixel art is next level as well!

I really enjoyed the game play of the game and have to say your art is absolutely amazing. I just have a couple thing's I would like to suggest if your planning on moving on with this project. first of all I completed in the first try so I recommend the difficulty is turned up slightly , I would also like to of seen a better end when the boss dies instead of cutting to the UI and displaying you win instantly and finally the theme wasn't that present though out the game only at the cut scene . but honestly that aside in the time you had its a really good project.
thx very much. ya. i had some bigger plans for the ending. but I hadn't done anything for the ending with 9 hours left to go. so the beginning UI video, and the ending, I had to create in just a few hours lol., and due to the theme isn't present without that ending. i was near panicked trying to squeeze it in haha. I've done more with making pixel art in this 1 project, than all other pixel art, I've ever done. so it was a lot of fun. and I learned soooo much

For someone who says they aren't an artist this looked great better than anything i van do. Gameplay was fun, animations and sounds were spot on and the game itself was fun to play. Thoroughly enjoyed it. i wish you luck for further ratings and the jam
