Hey, I finally had a chance to give it another try. I just missed the three dialogues on my previous run, so the dialogue with Scott wasn’t triggering... Sorry about that, I just missed a detail haha.
Thank you for your sub I found it really cute :)

Actually you can get lost easily but by running around a bit you should find some hints on what to do, and some sweet loots that could help you progress further into the dungeon :) Since you've also submitted a dungeon crawler, I highly suggest you playing at least until you find the thing we showcased in the screenshots, you might actually like what we've done with the crawler mechanics!

and you were right, i had much fun playing this game and the UI is just bonus :) I might give it another try later so I can get past the 3rd level ahah
thank you !

Will try the desktop version later, the embedded one seems to bug with dialogs :c (I understand the struggle with web export tho💀). You really nailed the graphics part I'm impressed! Nice sub

I'm warning you, if I see another arrow QTE, I'm going to lose it haha. This game is absolutely stunning, I was blown away by the level of care put into the models and the overall graphic consistency. I hope you go far, you've got gold in your keyboards.

PS:  the controls with the camera monitor seems completely broken, I've been softlock several times by pressing wasd in the camera mode.

My friends would disagree but I definitely love the graphics. My favorite so far.
In terms of gameplay, you could have added more interactions, like 'combos' with the card pairs, which would have made the game mechanics more engaging.

Man the dialog box fades out only to pop back up right when you think you can move—haha, it's almost edging at this point. Nice submission! I'm surprised at how polished it feels, both the dialogs and the graphics. I'm not usually a fan of story based games in game jams, but this is one I really enjoyed. See you at the next jam! :)

Just saw that you even published a trailer, nice !

Man, I know the 1st and 2nd layouts by heart after so many attempts. I'm really sorry, but after 5-6 tries, I still couldn't find the yellow key on the 3rd level. I would have loved to go further, the aesthetics are great. Maybe you've added it later in the game, but I think it's missing a few mechanics, especially related to the gun. If you had more time to polish, you could have added a menu and a fancy UI. Otherwise, you definitely nailed the graphics. I loved how the atmosphere gets weirder the further you go. On a side note I think for a game jam adding respawn points at each stage could make the experience easier for testers.

In france we say : "C'est quoi ce poulet"
Impressive submission, gave me the same feeling as the first time I played Celeste, controls feedback feels great I loved spending time jumping around.
Thank you

Thank you for feedback.

It is indeed, plus it's our first attempt with godot, we might have some performance issues with the way we do assets preloading, but we mainly have issues with web export. I'm going to dig into html export config in godot. I wish I could fix that :c
