Unsettling and nerve-wracking. Loved the art and visual effects. Would be nice if there was an orb counter somewhere on screen or in a diegetic UI like a piece of paper, or something for your character to look at... which would also require you to maybe lose sight of the monster for a brief moment. Thank you very much for uploading and sharing!
Man this game look incredible, I want to know so bad how did you make this coloring effect, I guess it's some sort of ASCII, but how did you do this "persistence" effect, that only show relief when the player is moving. That's one of my best experience in this jam so far, the maze with the "keep watching" mechanic worked well on me.
Very very cool entry !
The visual is very cool, it just seemed to burn out the early texts a bit when I got too close to them. I love the weeping angel concept, so I loved this one! I too found myself at a dead end, but once spotted, you avoid going back haha! Maybe I’d have liked it if the angel hadn’t killed us when we looked at it (or if it had been closer than normal), but I understand this design choice and it works very well all the same, forcing the player to look for another path (when possible).
A very cool visual style. I liked how the angel sounded like a chess piece made of stone. It took me quite a while to find the orbs, and then I couldn't find a way out. Luckily, I kept my orbs on death, so when the angel killed me I got back outside the maze and the other gate was open.
I like visual style of this game!!! i lost in a maze few times but its ok! GJ!
Looks cool! I think the enemy should not kill the player if he is looking at him. And there are times when you reach a dead end and the statue blocks the passage, which is why you die in any case.
It definitely has a lot of personality, I think the only bad thing is that we are in a maze.
The graphics and retro vibes are gorgeous. I love the purple with the pop of green and red for the orbs and angel.
Good use of the weeping angel formular with a unique artstyle/color scheme.
I find the filter cool but damn if doesn't hurt my head after a while.
I must say, bold choice to make an labyrinth escape game where you basically cannot look where you are going, nice twist, made me really worry where the hell I was going (especially after dying in a one slim dead end lol). The visuals were also fun, bit different, at first I worried it would cause eyestrain for me but to my delight it didn't and I quite actually liked how the shaders looked, especially with the angel statue too. Probs for the sound design too, there were some ambient noises that definitely made me even more worried for what I couldn't see.
Good stuff, good work.
This is so freaking scary, literally yelped when I turned the corner. Filter on the game looks amazing. One thing that would make it betters is if the angel would try a different method of approaching you when you lose it behind walls as that would keep the suspense up where in the latter half it had gone away.

Weeping angels! This is so great, the aesthetic is intense but super cool. The angel getting closer scared me lot lol, I got too scared to keep playing after a bit, my heart dropped every time.
