This one is one I keep coming back to. Your writing is clear but not blunt, so not only is the story itself engaging, but the words leap off the page. I could see the scene clearly in my mind, and I could feel what Shay felt. One of my favorite reads here I think.

This one made me feel warm inside. Your execution was really good and made it an actual pleasure to read.

This was very vivid in terms of the story, which is hard to do in a journal format while still retaining a character's voice, so that alone deserves applause. Outside of that? I just really really liked where your head was at with this one!

This one really stands out in my head from a lot of the others here in a good way. Your direction  and vision with the prompt and concept shines here.

The way you used this prompt is quite frankly incredibly clever and reminds me of some of my favorite short stories. You had me grinning ear to ear.

I read through this twice, and I think it deserves it. The balance of tone is maintained very well and in a way I didn't expect.

You made me care about the battle brothers and their thoughts, that's no small feat. Really engaging writing going on here.

This was actually the first one I read and I wanted to say that the whole package works together so very well. Not only did you paint an excellent picture but the actual structure gelled super well!

I loved this, the last line is such a good sledgehammer to drive the whole thing home.

This actually made me tear up, I'm a sucker for family bonds and how they're affected by strife.
