Severely underrated by people without a sense of humour. This was brilliant, the words flowed from the screen right into my brain and made me laugh out loud. Original, bold and still 100% on theme.
I loved this look into how one might write a really grimdark halfling culture! The idea of the stout six-meals-a-day halflings as a kind of sentient locust swarm is genuinely horrifying, although you handled it here with a wry, deft humour that was awfully delightful to read.
Really liked the flow of this one! The second paragraph (and onward) turning on its head the normally relatable trope of the hungry halfling into a greedy monster was great.
there's about to be a riot, mark my words...
Loved this concept, characters, and straightforward story beat. Well executed - kind of flat, but it's worth it for an elegant little joke like this.
Ah, yes do not read if you have not had breakfast yet! Nice twist on a classic trope.
I read through this twice, and I think it deserves it. The balance of tone is maintained very well and in a way I didn't expect.
