Thank you! Haha I spent a good portion of my jam time figuring out the map (and most of the remaining time figuring out how to make the images wobble) so glad you liked it

Thank you!! I'm so glad to hear people were willing to not only play it through but play it multiple times. Really means a lot to hear.

Wow!!! This is such an incredible honor. Especially considering all the other (far better) fantastic games under consideration. Thank you so much for your kind words!

(1 edit)

Also the two spookiest parts weren't even connected to the main mystery!

(spoilers....

the guy in the elevator and the creepy guy on the other side of the grate)

Wow. Closest I've ever felt to playing an SCP. I would play a whole series about it. Surprisingly tricky too, I don't know if I would ever be able to do it in the allotted time my first try.

Ahhh, this was so creepy!! Amazing story-telling

Thank you! I'm so glad to hear that :)

 ✊

That is so kind!! Especially coming from you, who made such a wonderful and professional game (not even in the same league as anything I could make). Thank you!

Really cool idea and addicting too. I got close but still can't beat evil eye :'(

Sick game! Love the aesthetics

This game rocks OMG!! I knew I was gonna like it when I saw that PS One art. Mowing down a horde of pumpkins with a machine-gun shotgun and having pixels fly everywhere was so effing satisfying. And what that a "Drunken Sailor" remix I was listening to??

What an acid trip, wow! No clue how you possibly did that effect. Fun premise for the gameplay too, although I basically just  walked backwards in a loop until I won

Ah, thank you! Yeah I'll have to add that to the list of things to fix once voting is over

I'm glad, because this was a really fun game! :)

Awesome graphics! My only suggestion is to add more of a tutorial since it was a bit intimidating at first, but overall I'm really impressed you were able to get this done in just a week

This game looks really cool but FYI I can't play it because my computer thinks its a virus :(

Fantastic game! The art is beautiful, the story fun and engaging, the gameplay addicting, and even the music was a vibe. It did take some trial and error to figure out what role each toy was meant to serve but that didn't really matter since by wave 3 you probably have had a chance to try them all out.

Yes!! Love the fixed camera angles. That first skitter across the frame before you've met the monster is so good. Great creature design too. I don't know if this was intended or a happy accident but I left the game on after I died and came back to a whole horde of creatures feasting on me which really creeped me out

Haha glad you liked it, I wasted a full day of the 3.5 days I had for the jam learning shaders so I could do that one effect 😅

I'm so glad you liked it!! I was worried it would be too niche to attract any fans. FYI one of the four endings is just dying so make sure to count that if you're hunting for them (I caught a bug after release that I forgot my death count was zero-indexed still so it will say 0 of 4 but its still one of the four).

Incredibly polished! Beautiful art and and intriguing story. My only issue is I'm not really sure what made certain questions more upsetting than others, but I managed to get all the endings anyway

Very cute and fun! And lovely art. The gun slam scared the heck out of me

Was expecting a joke game (and I guess it kinda was in that it was funny) but it actually scared the hell out of me! Super fun, it took me a while but I managed to beat it

This art is so gorgeous. I made a small game for a game jam and it fit perfectly with the atmosphere I was going for: https://cflower.itch.io/asylum
