Thanks for playing!  The dialogue music was a stylistic choice that we thought was cool but it can definitely get distracting lol, I kept getting distracted with the audio as well.  The clues were hidden around the scene, there are objects you can interact with besides the characters, though even if you found all the clues and talked through every person's dialogue it might not be 100% clear, which was semi-intentional.  It ended up being surprisingly hard to balance the hints between useless and a dead giveaway.

Thanks for letting me know that out can't arrest the barkeep, I must've forgot to link that option, I'll get that fixed soon.

Thanks!  We actually had a walk cycle made during the jam, but ran into issues with the walk system looking kind of weird so we chose to leave it out for the submission.  We might go back and add it in later, not sure.  Currently no plans to make this into a full project for now though, we all work so this was done pretty much entirely on the weekends, but it would be cool.

Fun but I wish there was more variety and polish.   An aiming reticle would make the game much more playable, and some more work on the movement to increase control would be really nice.  Some more juicy effects and maybe more level variety (verticality, layout, design, etc) would really make this a great game, but it's still really good for only a week's worth or work!

Art is great, although  the game is pretty confusing at times and I managed to shove the dog through the floor playing with the ball at one point lol.

Took a while to get started but the atmosphere was really unnerving and there was some 10/10 moments and details that made me smile (looking at you growing hallway, that was good).
As a side note, could've been just my pc but this game was really loud lol, I'd maybe turn the volume down just a bit.

This is really, really good.  Gameplay is really solid (although it can be hard to hit enemies at times), and the art style is really good overall.  It definitely needs controls listed in the menu, I spent a good 2-3 minutes running around before I thought of checking the game page for controls, after that the gameplay was much better lol.
Other than that I just wish the entire game had the same  sketchy art style as the main menu because I really like the way it looks and I think it fits the game idea really well.

The atmosphere is good but I feel like the movement really needs work since right now it isn't very satisfying to traverse the dungeon.  Not really sure how it fits the theme, there's nothing chaotic really, if anything I'd say it's pretty much the opposite with how you have to move and attack enemies very intentionally, and nothing changes between playthroughs.

Really fun but I wish there was some kind of level system or increasing difficulty, something to make the game progress as you play.  Some effects would also make it really fun I think, like explosions for the bombs, pieces for the  vases  (I think that's what they were lol)

This game was actually really fun!  The gameplay and controls were simple  to understand and were satisfying to use.  One of my favorite games so far!  I did notice that the "Press R To Restart" doesn't work, but it didn't detract from the game for me at all.

Looks fun but I was never able to figure out exactly how to interact with everything properly.   Maybe introducing one mechanic at a time through gameplay would help as right now it's  very complicated right from the start.

10/10 Favorite game so far.  Graphics are great, feels like a retro version  of portal.  There was a pretty drastic difficulty increase at level 10, with level 15 being the hardest imo.  Overall took about half an hour to get through but  I enjoyed it immensely.  Props especially to the sound and music, really what sold it for me.

The true customer service sector experience.  Someone comes in and asks for a bazooka, and pays you $9 dollars.  Your coworkers called out so you have to keep the whole place running by yourself, and despite this you give a couple people the wrong order and boom!  Fired.

For real though, very fun game with a really clever take on the theme and a well put together  UI and game design.   Scores feel a bit too random though for it to be a real gauge of how well you did.  My first playthough I lost on level 3 but made more than my 3rd playthrough where I made it to level 4.

I really liked this game.  Very fun, occasionally a little frustrating but as someone who plays D&D I  know that the dice cannot always be kind.  Definitely going to recommend to some friends!

Very fun!  My only complaint is that there's no way to stop    sos/vip planes from hitting each other.  Other than that I  really enjoyed it.  The minimal art and sound worked really well for the style and idea you had

Fun!  I don't understand the point of the purple collectables as they have no impact on gameplay, and while it fits the theme I feel like some of the puzzles (especially the very last one) were less of a test of skill and more of do it over and over until it works.  Then again, that is pretty chaotic so it also kinda fits the theme so that's kind of a win.

Music is good and I liked the art style.    I wish the wall teleport mechanic was used or encouraged more in actual gameplay,  more often than not I used it by accident rather than intentionally.   Otherwise some gameplay sounds (for things like hitting rocks, picking up collectibles, etc) would be nice, and maybe some simple particle effects or trails would really add to the whole thing.

Very nice looking, and the background ambience is good.  Not sure how it fits the theme besides the randomness and general lack of understanding as to what's happening.    All-in-all though, I enjoyed it (even if the falling cubes were a little frustrating) and I wish there was more!

I didn't realize you could hit the boxes into the furnace until about my third attempt, and I don't know why I'm shoving things in the furnace or cranking the thing, or how much to do either of those things, but dang does this game look nice.  I do wish that there was more of an indication of how well you were doing, how damaged your ship was, and how damaged the enemy's ship was, as it wasn't clear at all how well I was doing.  Maybe an explanation of the different UI elements would help with that though.

Very good concept though and one of the best games I've played so far.  I can't help but wish that this was multiplayer, with different people cranking, feeding the furnace, and shooting the enemies.  Seems like it'd be super fun

The art and atmosphere were fantastic, and I really enjoyed the little story snippets.  The game's really held back by mechanics though.  The shooting is hard to use with the delay and slow bullet speed, and the jumping and movement feel very loose and somewhat out of control.  Maybe also consider some effects for shooting and hitting the wasps.

I'm also not really sure how you incorporated the theme as a mechanic here.  It's explained in the story as a time machine, but from what I can tell it's basically just a level reset, and feels very poorly implemented.

Pretty fun, the movement was fluid but a bit wonky at points.  The last level with the 3 archers was kinda of infuriating.  Pretty solid though, the graphics were fun, the levels were difficult but doable, and the sounds/music was really good.

For a first game jam this is really good!  The art was cute and the music was fairly catchy.  Definitely had some bugs, I accidentally deleted the double gem (II think, what you got from crafting two crab drops together) the first playthrough, and walking back to the room with the black box locked the doors behind me again and I couldn't get past there without restarting.

Adding some variation to the scenery would really add to the game, as the grass and trees feel very repetitive.  Maybe also consider some scene transitions and effects.

Overall though, very nice and very fun.  I enjoyed it :)

Very difficult, I did discover you can wall jump along ceilings though which was fun.  Input felt kinda twitchy and was difficult to control.  Maybe add some checkpoints or something similar to not punish the player so much when they die, and/or remove some of the spikes.  Missing a jump and having to redo the last 15 seconds isn't as bad as forcing the player to go all the way back to the start.

Pretty good, not sure whether the game ended on the third day because of angry customers or if that was just the end.

The recoil is really intense (pointed me to the ceiling after each shot), and the game was pretty difficult.  Maybe consider adding some kind of indicator that the enemies are getting damaged, it took me a while to realize I some of them took more than one shot to kill, and that I wasn't just missing.  Otherwise pretty good, the pixel art was fantastic.
