Thank you for the comment! Any resemblance to Aperture Science is accidental :)

Finished two runs on 0.1.2 one after another, and I have to say that the game felt easier somehow.
- Revolver is too OP, especially for the HostDear fight (took her down in 15 seconds without any damage multipliers)
- Cowgirl hat is somewhat OP, having more than one of them significantly reduces the risk of being hit by projectiles
- 2nd boss skip (safe spot in the bottom-right corner) is not fixed
I think the player should not be allowed to have more than 2 items of the same type.
More feedback after playing on v0.1.1:
- 2nd boss can be killed with zero damage by just locating yourself in a bottom-right corner - minigun’s projectiles will despawn out of screen, and left gun’s projectiles won’t even fly in that corner
- there is a new bug when the game spawns an empty item, and it might put two objects in one slot
- even one monkey is too OP for stages 1-3, grunts are getting killed outside the screen. If you have the pickaxe, then you can practically do nothing.
- item randomization is still not great, I’ve got 4 plushies during the first two stages
Very fun game! It looks and sounds wonderful. The game loop is addicting, easy to learn for those who don’t play bullet hell games that often.
Couple of bugs:
- Item randomization and buff stacking are broken. It often gives me the same buff over and over. Sometimes it’s absolutely OP (7x purple tea + frying pan), and sometimes it does absolutely nothing (5x dog ears + Megatron). When it goes wrong, even the first boss is very difficult to beat (I think it regenerates during the fight, so I was dealing next to none damage while wearing 5x dog ears). But when it goes VERY wrong (more than one monkey), the shooting becomes irrelevant… Needs huge rebalancing pass.
- I don’t feel like Megatron does anything, or it is not that obvious when it does. Maybe something like a visual or sound cue? The frying pan’s feedback is a perfect example.
- Music for 1st and 3rd bosses does not loop properly
- No SFX during the stage change
- Stage 3 has a massive difficulty jump even compared to Stage 2.
- 1st stage for the forth boss can be easily avoided if you have enough monkeys to deal damage, see the video
Some piwwos say that the frying pan is OP, but I think it is very fair because it has a wider hitbox and WILL wear out during the boss fights.
Controls are kinda wacky: there is no sense of control in midair, quite frustrating. Music department doesn’t quite highlight the game loop, which is fantastic. I think that the only battle-tested weapon in the game was the Gymbag, since the other two are not designed for those enemies: Tin Cans are uncontrollable, and Evil Plush doesn’t have enough range.
Overall, a good game concept and a great candidate for a full game!
Interesting concept, but it lacks some balancing. Health is of an essence here, but there are not enough items which boost it. It feels like there is a predetermined set of actions required to complete the game, but this is not a puzzle game. Art and music are fantastic.
I love this game and I wish to see a full version!
