Potentially making the reflection bound to the cursor than the actual reflecting point would make it more clear, but I didn’t have time to try that our unfortunately.

Thanks for checking out our game!

We really wanted to go for a cyberpunk vaporwave type of style. Yeah, my Macbook has the same issue for some reason - I can’t seem to figure out why…

Thanks for playing!

Yeah I considered making it speed up gradually as you progressed through the level. Thanks for taking the time to play our game and leave feedback!

Initially, I considered making it Flappy Bird-like where you would have to balance flying over floorless spaces by constantly reflecting back and forth, but that seemed a little much. So I settled for a auto-runner platformer instead.

Thanks for the checking out the game and leaving feedback!

Pixiepill did a really nice job with the art - thanks for playing!

Shoutout to andresu for sending us the music!

I really liked the idea of the mechanic, but the more level design I added the more I realized it was getting kind of tricky to know where the character was going to teleport to.

It was novel idea I thought, so worth the shot!

Yeah it was tough trying to find a way to convey where the character was going to teleport to, but overall I was pretty happy with the mechanic in general.

Thanks for playing!

Ah man sorry bout the softlock, yeah not much after making a choice so no big.

Thanks for checking out the game.

Rat guy was my favorite character.

It’s so simple, yet so fun.

Also, I love the classical violin soundtrack while you play.

Thanks for playing!

All props go to pixiepill for the art and writing, she’s really good!

Thanks for checking out our game, glad you enjoyed :)

too scary imo

Thanks so much for the compliments and checking out our game!

Thanks for the feedback and checking out our game!

I would’ve liked to add a speed up text option for sure, thanks for checking out our game!

If I had time I would’ve liked to add a key to speed up dialog like what you can do in the Pokemon games.

Thanks for checking out our game!

hey nice playthrough!

Thanks for checking out the game! Yeah, the dialogue bug is a bummer :(

Yeah I wanted to add some healing drops from some of the minions. Sorry to give you you’re league of legends dopamine hit again, haha.

Thanks for checking out our game!

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, this is our first game / game jam, and we’re really happy with how it came out.

GOLDMUSICVAULT 🔥

The E ability is a focus-fire attack that freezes you movement but increases your attack speed until the target is destroyed. I would’ve really liked to add tooltips to the abilities to explain what they do in-game.

Thanks for checking out our game and leaving feedback!

I really enjoy rogue-like games where you naturally progress by playing more and getting better at the game by learning the mechanics. I also would’ve liked to add healing drops that you would have to fight through enemies to get to.

Thanks for playing our game!

Thank you!

The E attack needs a better indicator to help convey what it does. I noticed myself that a little darker cooldown indicators would help too.

Thanks for playing our game and leaving feedback!

Yes, need more fire assets lol! Thank you so much for checking out our game.

I miss that old school RTS/MOBA type of movement and controls lol.

Thanks for playing!

A lot of people have been struggling with figuring out the E ability. It’s basically a focus fire attack, but I wish I had time to cleanup the indicator for it and add help text when you hover over abilities to explain them in game.

Thanks for checking out our game though, glad you had fun!

I really appreciated the seamless tutorial as you gathered more tools, but I felt like on the third floor I had to figure out the wall slide and double jump mechanic on my own.

I might of missed text explaining it…

This was a really cool game though.

I don’t know if making the constant flipping upside/down to get horizontal distance is a good thing to have as a core mechanic to move across the tower, but it was getting fun once you get used to it.

I will say the controls to pull that manuever off are kind of awkward. I kept having to remind myself to switch back and forth between the left and right arrow keys after each swap.

Cool idea and I enjoyed playing this game!

This idea was so original! The only think I would add to this game is the ability to bid back and forth with your competitor. It would also be great if there were other competing companies that you have to bid against.

Amazing work with this game!

TAKE MY MONEY “GUY” !!

The green guy wasn’t taking my money :(

It wasn’t clear that crates could go through elevators, but I did manage to find the reset level key!

Your level design is sooooo good though!

It was really unclear to me that I was putting archers down on my towers, and it didn’t help that they look like little squares on the tower. So I would pretty make the columns of the tower larger, and make the archer assets clearer.

Really cool idea though, the dragons soaring through the sky looked awesome!

It’s a cool concept and I like how the player is a shovel that hops around in the sand. I feel like a hotbar where you can select your defense to place would be more intuitive.

Like press 1 + Left-click to place down a canon.

Yeah I needed to add a cursor icon to indicate whether you’re about to attack or walk as normal.

Thanks for checking out the game and leaving feedback!

You have just enough range to hit the mage minions once and fall back to your tower. So the idea is you want to attack, move back a bit, and go back in for another attack.

In a lot of other games this is called “kiting.”

Glad you enjoyed though, thanks for playing!

Yes! Some fire whizzing through the air sounds would’ve been epic!
