This game was amazing! I spent the most time playing this game of all the games in the jam. My favorite thing about the game was the aesthetics. I’ve been a big fan of platformers, but something about the aesthetic, music, and fluid controls kept me engaged.

Looking forward to seeing more from Roundcube!

It would be cool to use the floors you’ve already broken through as more room to build velocity for the next ball. I felt like the controls were a little constrained to a single room when setting the initial velocity.

It was really fun and the mechanics are super simple. The upgrades were well done and adds room for more abilities in the future.

Nicely done game!

Will definitely cleanup the controls the next time I do a game like this.

Thanks for the feedback!

Will definitely take that into consideration for the next time I do a game in this style.

Thanks for checking us out!

I would’ve liked to of added some better UI around the abilities and clickable targets, but I didn’t have time to make the cut.

Thanks for playing the game and glad you enjoyed it!

The E ability is a focus-fire that increases attack speed but disabled movement until the enemy dies. But I wish I made it more clear, and added tooltips for each abilities description.

But thanks for checking out the game, we had a lot of fun making it!

One thing that I would’ve liked to add was if the cursor changed to a sword icon when you hover over an enemy, so you know you’re going to attack.

Thanks for checking out the game!

Yeah RMB to move is sort of an artifact of the past (starcraft, warcraft, etc.) I really wanted to capture that nostalgic old-school movement controls.

Thanks for the review :)

This was my first game jam, and I wasn’t sure if the game was too hard or not lol.

Thanks for checking it out!

Yeah I always enjoyed roguelike games where you naturally get better the more you play, so I kind of wanted to pursue that feel for this game.

Thanks for playing!

The E ability targets the closest enemy and focus fires them with increased attack speed, and disabled your ability to move until they die.

It would’ve been nice to add tooltips to read the abilities.

Thanks for playing our game!

Shoutout to GoldMusicVault for the soundtrack.

Thanks for playing our game!

i like the poop penguins.

fun fact: tower.

where are the guns at?

Simple platformer, but I do appreciate having various paths to take to the top.

I also like the squishy animation that plays when froggy lands after jumping.

Ribbit.

Rock solid game.

I like the design of the ship, and all the mini-game tasks.

Jeff, what are the chances we are in the same game jam!

Cool game man, hope all is well.

~ Henry :)

This was a cool game.

My strategy was to put only teleporters in one dimension, and setup all my towers in the other.

The art is amazing, and I love how equipping items has an illustration for each combination.

I like the mouse model, and the opening sequence looked great!

So well polished with a fun twist on jenga, well played.

…but i liked it. <3

this game was too scary

A simple, but fun, auto-battle. The UX of the shop could use some work. It’s hard to tell which unit has what items, and what the X’s actually mean.

I really enjoyed this game, probably my favorite of the jam I’ve played so far.

It’s a really cute game. I think adding a mini-map would make it really easy for the player to dive-bomb more confidently.

i really like the top-down, scroll-to-zoom mechanics.

I really liked this concept, never seen it before.

Yeah, the color coding and letters were hard to understand in the beginning.

Yeah, it’s very LoL inspired.

Thanks for checking out our game!

The jumping is very fluid, did you use particles emitter node for the jump trail?

This is my first game jam, and first game made with Godot!

My high score is currently 19 waves. Enjoy!
