Very original main mechanic idea. It was fun and I can imagine this game being bigger, with more stuff of course.

Thanks for the feedback. And yeah. I noticed an immense power creep during development too, but I didn't know how to fight it.

It was planned, but unfortunately there wasn't enough time for Implementing it.

Thank you for the Feedback.

I meant to windows inside the game. not the actual window of the game. Altough this could also be quite interesting.

What if you could interact with the windows in some way. This could make for a fun game on steam. love the visuals btw.

Ho. ho. Then get as close as you like.

IS THAT A JOJO REFERENCE?

I liked it. If the game had more puzzle-ly elements, more levels and wasn't so strict with the remaining time I'd probably buy it on steam.

The game is actually fun, though it can be better.
First of all when you run from the exit door for the elderly to the child you accidentally pick up the food which can be annoying.
Also having some sort of timer bar when sleeping could help the player to know when he wakes up again.
Additionally I can imagine getting some sort of powerup or currency as a reward for passing a day which you can use to maximize your output every day to keep the player engaged and interested.
All in all nicely done.

Thank you for the criticism. I always like to see that.

Thank you for the feedback

First of all thank you for playing and the criticism.
About the two timelines. I didn't program the game. I made the art, but as to how I understood it the two timelines are basically two tilemaps that get swapped out on the button press and enemy positions are being saved and repositioned to where they have to be when switching back.

ah, so that is where the controls are. I usually Look at the Games Website for the controls. Personally i almost never Played any RPG maker Games myself.

The concept is quite original an the game became progressively harder with the increase of rooms and people.
Good job. Keep going.

The concept is very good and I had fun with trying to figure out which shape is the impostor. Unfortunaetly the boxes fell outisde of where they belong to be quite often which hurts the experience. As for the conversation you start with my teammate SabifiedSab, I personally think you should keep the physics, because they give this bit of movement and let the game live a little more. ( I am bad at expressing myself XD)
You would have to fix the falling over though.
All in all keep the good ideas going in the future. 👍

It's great to see someone implement a concept, which I personally only have seen once so far, which was the first boss in "Celeste". I think it fits well with the theme, but the death is way too punishing with it's long endurance and that loud scream.
Also you made the same mistake as I did with my own first platformer (I use unity too), which is that floaty feel when in mid air.
In a game where you have to be fast, you don't really want to wait a few seconds after a jump just to land on the next platform. As soon as I reach the next platform, the "impostor" is literally breathing down my neck and I have to try and get a gap between him and me again or die and restart the whole thing, which is very frustrating.

This game so far was the one i had most fun with but also a bit frustration.
I did not find the safe function at first and also I had to try a bunch of buttons to find out that the interact button is enter. Additionally It was hard to know if you could interact with something (an outline if something is interactable could be enough) and the hitboxes were a little ... weird and finicky. Especially in the office scene where you had to hide underneath the tables.
All in all though after getting used to all that, the game was a lot of fun, especially with the small puzzles to solve with multiple different mechanics and the small typical and funny office conversations in the midst of a creepy environment . Keep going.

okay. I will try it again later.

Sure thing. My discord is "colouristicx" in case you want to chat with me there. I don't want to spam the comments section too much.

the newest model of the normal xbox controllers

Unfortunately the hide function is not working, which is why i cant even get past the first guard :(

I personally love stealth games and enjoyed this one.
Unfortunately the sound is missing and Stage 4 just does not exist, so I could not complete the whole game. :(

This game was really fun to play. And the visuals, aswell as the sound fit well together, and the idea was integrated very good.
The only problem occcuring to me, was that the game shows you controller controls (I immediately picked up my controller to try) but they dont work, so I had to figure out every keyboard keybind by just pressing every button and hoping for something to happen.
By the way, my final time was 4:13.86

I love your artstyle it is very cute. You could try and exercise backgrounds and ui elements, to set them apart more of your characters, for example make the background a little darker. I think keeping the plants at the top in this lighter colour would add a sense of depth.
All in all, although the game was quite short you did good and kept the theme, which nobody would expect with this art and this theme combined.

Hello there. Do you two still need an artist? I originally planned to go solo, but I just cant get any idea I am comfortable with for a game for this topic, so I would like to help by doing art.

I am very comfortable at Pixelart and mainly work with unity. In case of time zones, I am from Germany, so my time zone is CET (GMT +1).
