I’m sorry that didn’t work for you! Did you try running the game in your browser? You might load into the game then refresh the page and it’ll work really well! I’ll look into this issue, thanks!

Our artists worked hard and really appreciate the praise! There was much more planned but life kinda got in the way of making everything happen the way we would have liked. We are planning on expanding on the game in the future, though. Thank you!

Very cute game! Our games ended up feeling very similar… great minds think alike! Fluid game play, I liked the variety in how to make the different parts of the drink. Good graphics, and overall a good and balanced experience. I think the story was just right for a jam like this. Good job!

Thanks!

To do both of those you hold the cup and right click on the milk carton and the pump bottles, it was supposed to be a little different but we ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

The recipes felt pretty intuitive once I figured out you have to have 2 ingredients to make a drink haha. My only critique is with the movement controls, the key binds are fine but I personally would have preferred to be able to turn and walk at the same time. Other than that I was very satisfied with the gameplay. Well done!

I enjoyed this game! I like the point and click puzzle adventure games like this. I love the shark tank, I laughed audibly at work and got some weird looks! Good job!

I am running into a bug where I am met with a gray screen and the game crashes if I press escape to return to the game upon first going into the resource menu. I can avoid it by going fishing then returning. The idea is there and the gameplay itself is fluid. I like that you can zoom out on the ship to make it a bit easier to navigate! Aside from that one bug good job!

Thank you! This was a team effort for sure, and it is lacking a TON of features we initially planned for the jam. All of the art was done by our two artists on the team and they’re really happy it’s grabbing people’s attention. We appreciate the feedback!

This is very true!

Fighting Cthulhu I fell through the world

Fullscreen is working now! I uploaded it at 4 AM and totally overlooked that, my bad!

I totally forgot to do that! It should be fixed now, let me know!

I fell off the map at the end, but I had a lot of fun getting there! I love these run and gun type games and I love all of the buffs the coffees give you. Fantastic game!

I love the concept. Although getting the hook stuck underground got a bit frustrating, but other than that it was a nice game. Really put my Stardew fishing skills to the test! Great job!

Great job! It was a good variety of mini games that came together with some nice art and made a really well rounded experience. Sound design was ok, probably could be improved, but other than that it was a fun game! Thanks!

Fun little game! Although I struggled to fight the kraken! Wasn’t sure how I kept losing but I would be doing good, dropping canon balls on his head, then suddenly I was back down below and would have to restart the fight. I was watching my health too, and I was doing good on not getting hit. Still was a fun experience! Great job!

I think my playthrough became more of my ego telling me I’m good at platformers then proceeding to fail on the platforming and wasting 8 minutes trying to wall jump haha! I had a lot of fun playing this, although I would recommend tweaking the controls a bit to be more user-friendly (or maybe just me friendly, I might just be that bad 😅). But all-in-all great game!

Cute game! Sorry you got sick and couldn’t get everything in that you wanted. I had a similar issue with my submission…

I kept making coffees and exploring but wasn’t really sure where the game was heading since not a whole lot was happening. Was there an end to the game at some point? Still was fun to just sit and make a ton of money making coffees though, haha!

I’ve been toying with using GBStudio to make games but just haven’t really gotten myself to do it, got any resources you recommend for first timers?

Very well done! The game got scarier as you played and that’s how it should be. Personally the jump scare was a little lack luster compared to the overall environment, but still really well made game!

Holy crap… I was STRESSED. When the woman started following I got really spooked. Well placed jump scares and fairly easy to navigate the backrooms to find what you’re supposed to do next. It really helped having landmarks to help know where you are. Very well done!

We got mixed feedback on the jump scare in play testing, so we’re glad it got you! Hopefully you enjoyed the game enough to watch for the full release near Halloween… Thanks for playing!

Thank you for the constructive feedback! We are going to work hard to make sure that fear of the unknown note is hit hard with the full release. I like the idea of having stuff move or appear to move to keep you on edge even more. I appreciate you mentioning lighting as I have never messed around with Godot’s world environment lighting before so this was a first go at it and I definitely see the flaws you pointed out. We’re glad you still found enjoyment in the game and we’re happy you played! Full release will come out around Halloween :)

I think you got to the end of the demo! What you described was the scripted “ending” of the game as it currently is. The full release will have quite a bit more going on that will make it feel more full and have some dynamic survival elements to it. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks!

Pixel art is top tier! I liked the off vibes of the game that were confirmed with the ending. The character controller was a bit difficult to get timing right, might want to tweak it a little bit so it is easier to play. Overall I enjoyed it! The platforming was good and challenging especially with the controls the way they are, the drive to get all the keys was good, I didn’t feel confused at any point what my objective was. Good work, looking forward to part 2!

The game had good atmosphere and I enjoyed the creepy vibes all around. Controls are a bit wonky, but given it’s your first game they’re not that bad. Some critiques I have are making the mouse disappear, that was the most annoying part was having to reset my mouse or have to turn around the other way so I can look around. Another is giving some more story dialogue and hints to know what to do next. I walked around with the pizza for 10 minutes and still could not figure out what I was supposed to do with it. I’ll give you some kudos for the jump scare upon exiting the game though, I was not expecting that! Overall good first game, I think you have some serious potential! Keep cracking at it and I think you’ll be making some amazing games. Best to you :)

The game was really good! Great atmosphere, the underlying story was good. Some critiques I have: the fonts on the pages were a bit small, maybe next time or in an update make it so you can zoom in to read the pages easier? Then near the end when I went back to the cell I got hard locked because it added the return to cell task twice and wouldn’t let me complete it again. Had to completely restart the game to complete it. Other than that it was really good! Solid controls, good movement, and well thought out sequences and puzzles. Overall very fun game, kept me on edge the whole time!

I’m pissed the jump scare got me as much as it did. I audibly gasped and got some head turns in public. Great job, short and sweet!

Personally not a huge fan of clickers, but this was definitely creepy! I think more interactive clickers like this one is a great direction for these types of games, well done!

The chase at the end had me stressed! I totally had to retry like 10 times before I figured out how to evade the attacks! Great game, good use of the PSX assets and art style! We used a handful of the same art packs as you, like the survival gear, trees, and cars. Overall I enjoyed the experience and I really hope your game does well in the end!

We’re happy you enjoyed it! The camping assets are good! I’ll check out your game today 😉

Thank you so much for the review and honest feedback! We want to make the full experience closer to survival against encroaching enemies like you mentioned, but we have plans for some more advanced mechanics as well. Glad you liked the demo and found it to be as creepy as we were hoping for!

Thank you! The full release is going to be much longer, this was meant to only be a demo. We’re glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing :)

The visuals are stunning! The flashback ghosts are incredibly impressive. Overall well done!

Very impressive! I love the fixed camera PSX games and this was a good recreation of that feeling. Great job!

I was really prepping myself for the eyes to turn and look at me, but when she's telling secrets it's creepy enough. Very well done!

Fantastic game! I enjoyed interacting with passengers, the theme was also very well implemented! Great work :)

I really liked the changing spirals. I could see this game turning into something more but it is very creepy as is! Well done!
