Great game
Really enjoyable! Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish it like I really wanted, between my computer lagging and running into glitches. Both of my runs, one car would eventually get stuck and make the game unable to continue. But, then I was able to get the endings where you get in an accident and where you simply leave. I really wanted to get to the end, but the game is also not too replayable. Clicking through text boxes to speed them up would've been nice for that. I really like the style. I was wondering what was going to eventually happen to me, and I liked all the small notes everywhere. Great game!
Strange, from my play test and from videos I watch I never witness any issues with the cars getting stuck. I can only guess is the game Lagging on your PC mess with timing/signals with the Cars A.I. which lead them to not behaving correctly leading to getting stuck. Also, guessing your PC doesn't handle something like Unreal Engine 5.
Yeah, it's just unfortunate u_u
Amazing! The mechanics are incredibly well done for a game done in a week, and the flow of everything is simply spot on! I really like the story too. The graphics/aesthetic are incredible as well. One of my favorite entries so far!
I liked the story and the twist. I wish we could resume from where we left off after seeing the side endings because it became repetitive to play again and again especially because moving back and forth takes time. I think its really fittin of the horror theme. great job.
This game is amazing with story and creativity. Honestly: a well-earned rating.
Great work, very well made and polished for a game created in a week)
This was pretty cool! Reminded me of how much I hate water...
Wow, this is great! The overall vibe is an eerie mix of coziness and suspense. Like some parts of it feel satisfying, but of course it makes me nervous overall. I also love how despite the main mechanic being going back and forth there's actually some different scenarios you can end up in; I'm not even sure if I've really explored everything in this game yet! I won't say anything else because I feel like anything more is spoiling it. The story is really interesting, and the surprises were really well done!
Amazing job!
Somehow going back and forth, loading up all the cars and pushing button was very cozy. But I still got more and more scared each time I went to the other side. Very unique idea and good suspense.
I liked it very much!
I found your idea very original, it was impressive how you managed to work suspense into a back and forth mechanic... I was impressed.
Congratulations on the great work!
Fantastic game! I enjoyed interacting with passengers, the theme was also very well implemented! Great work :)
This game is amazing, I enjoyed it a lot. I love the attention to detail in the forest on the main island, but I hate how itβs too dark when interacting with passengers boarding to the ferry. Good job!
This was so good bruh, my fave entry so far. Very well made and polished for a game created in a week, whole thing went smoothly and I didnβt have any bugs. Was freaking out near the end, really great tension and build up for an ending I had no idea was coming lol. Really great stuff here, no complaints.
I had alot of fun playing this and it has most worst fear in it . So i think that added to the scare factor alot! I dont even know what ending i got but i screamed and im not playing it again to find out. I was waiting for it and it happened
For a game made in a week, this was pretty badass. Was all very relaxing until... well you know :D Would love to see more from this developer.
Fantastic and almost certainly a highlight of the jam games I've played to date. Horror lends itself to the use and reuse of tropes, but a ferry is something I've genuinely not come across before! It's paced terrifically: the transit across the islands provides breathing space to really settle down and take in dialogue about the islands and the mounting dread of the upcoming storm, and build the mounting dread. The mixture of isolation, small-town folk tales and the supernatural pair well thematically, and I liked how the repetition of instructions and tasks as the ferryman immersed yourself - perhaps quite literally - into the role and atmosphere of the game. Definitely shows an impressive amount of depth for a jam game but your body of work to date really shows you know what you're doing well. Great experience!
Had fun with that one. The choice between the endings had me torn, but let's just say the town is saved. Had a nice amount of polish and the sound design was nice. An impressive project for 7 days! Somehow I called the ending idek how lol
I had a blast playing The Ferry! You really nailed it with the multiple endings, and the atmosphere was spot-on. The controls were super easy to pick up, and the story kept me hooked the whole time. Seriously impressive for just a week of work. Awesome job!
Honestly, I could just keep operating the ferry lol I found it very relaxing and enjoyable.
Also, having multiple endings is insane for a 7 day gamejam, kudos for pumping out so much content in that short period! Really good stuff, I enjoyed the game very much!
I really can't believe this was made in a week !!!
This game is amazing, the amount of polish and care you put into the elements shows.
The details and the clean systems. You even managed to add CommonUI and control support.
Nice jab at the good old fusebox puzzle hahaahah.
Top marks !!!
Check out our submission if you have the chance.
PS. I have only found 2 endings and none of them are the one you intended from the beginning I'm sure.
