I played for way too long after the text became gibberish. I hoped that eventually I would reach something and everything would get color, and the items would get eyes and everything would be happy. I felt betrayed after playing for an hour.

Here's the tower I created. I found that the best building materials are ladders, French baguettes and fridges, for some reason.

I wonder, does this game have an end?

I totally agree on the best items!

Interesting concept. I especially like the art, music and overall mood the game is setting. Really enjoyed this one.

It was a bit tedious to get the materials after a while and the performance was not the best (i do not know if it was due to me playing that on my notebook but this was the first to have such issues).

Still very cool game. Good Job!

Absolutely gorgeous aesthetic!!

Woah! This game is like that one episode of Adventure Time where Jake builds a tower to space, combined with Return of the Obra Dinn.  And I love it! Great job. I had a lot of fun stacking things until I fell a second time and decided I wasn't meant to reach whatever salvation awaits those worthy of making the climb. Keep up the awesome work!

This is absolutely a lovely and unique game.  Due to my own fault I didn't notice from reading the page that I was supposed to be building a tower, so, whoops ^_^;  Probably did not get as much out of it as I could have.  I do wish that the objects could be picked up and moved again after placing them, though I guess since people ARE building towers that could have some really weird side effects.  The only other thing I could say is that I wished I could turn up the music and turn down the sound effects, as having the music enjoyable would have some of the sounds painful.  (Of course, I've been known to miss where those controls are, so perhaps there was something that I missed.)
No other complaints about it, certainly slow builders are not my kind of game usually but there's no doubt it's a beautiful one.  Thanks for the experience ^_^

I loved how the music changed with the height/object count. That was a cool effect.

I did a very similar game for LD48 (endless w/ story to drive the player) and was happy how it turned out. Though I can see how some folks may be driven to try to "finish" the game despite there being no true ending. I played this a lot....

Really nice overall. Well done!

Absolutly beautiful game. The music is amazing. I love the surreal and nostalgic atmospere created here.

The gameplay is very original too, though it gets a bit tedious, especially when there doesn't seem to be anything to reach from where you are. And I wish there was a more satisfying ending (I'm not even sure if I reached the ending). But I'm in no position to complain. This game is Incredible!

Wow, this game is sooo good. It is so surreal, fun, weird, relaxing, beautiful and so on. I'm not joking when I say, that this game it the best game from this game jam I have ever played. I love the visual effect, but it is logical, because I have similar effect in my game. Music also corresponds to the game really well. I love that this game is sandbox so I can play how long I can, build whatever I want, there are no rules. Text/narrative in this game is so good too. When I fall down it calms my anger, when I build something even higher is reward me, it's just awesome. The grabbing animation is also funny.

Overall nothing to change in this game, it's just a gem.

Really nice job, I really like the art style, game play and music. The game play is a very original take on the theme and the art style kinda resembles return of the obra dinn which is really cool. Very small critique is that there is nothing on the floor at the start so its a bit hard to tell if you are moving unless you are looking at the sky, also I got stuck when building my tower because nothing was in reach so I had to reset. It could be useful  to have the objects so slowly drifting through the sky to prevent this situation.

Very good game! It was very peaceful and surprisingly fun. The graphics and music were outstanding and the gameplay was fun enough to get me on the edge of my seat for the majority of the game while also allowing me to relax and sit back to enjoy this game. By the end of it I felt like I knew every object in the game personally and had almost developed personalities for each of them. I hope you could check my game out too and give some feedback! I really enjoyed this game and it is among my favorites of the entire jam! Good luck in the future!

I love the whimsical moodiness. I love that my arms can reach out an absurd distance. I love the playful metaphors. I second wanting a visible target to move towards, and maybe a few milestones so I know I am making progress, but this is such a great game!

Very nice presentation, I felt very french vibes from all the baguettes and the awesome style. I wish there was some visible  target to build towards my babel tower, even if there was just some existential text inside it would be great having some kind of a target in the sky to build for :D

I love the hands-throw animation and the whole stop-motion feel to the world.

My big fall below :D

The gameplay is kinda dull but the presentation is fantastic
Has some of the best art from this jam imo

Fun concept and presentation! It's a very chill and easy-going experience that is very easy to get lost in

Beautifully crafted game. it was so easy to get lost and relaxed playing this. the music and artstyle is a perfect touch. I wish you could move pieces once you placed them on the ground and i wish there was a better placing object mechanic, but all in all i loved this game. great job!
