Very nice, loved it :)

This was submitted a day early and I was playing it while crunching on my own entry haha

Thanks a lot :)

Thanks :)

Agree with AntiCebo, feels like a captcha game haha.

You are not given enough time to click the shape after its vibrates, even if it vibrates a millisecond before you were about to click on it you get the gameover screen.

Very nice game and very accurate implementation of the theme lol.

I enjoyed playing this one. Have the option to put items back as well in case a wrong item was picked up :)

Very nice and polished game. Well done. Loved it :)

Thanks. :)

Snapping the building to tiles is a great idea, im currently checking for pixel distance from surrounding buildings, which is not as clear as the snap to tiles option you suggested. I'll make sure to implement that in going forward :)

Thanks. Yes, I found out about the jam one week too late and this was my first experience with Defold as well. So in the end did not have the time to fix the font and UI issues.

As for the theme, its more of a resource and power management game. place one too many buildings and lose all power to the base. Or place one too many production buildings without considering your resources and your army stops generating :)

Great stacking game :)

And especially impressive for your first game with Defold, coming from GDevelop :)

oof, thats definitely motion sickness inducing if played for a bit long.  but loved the implementation :)

Great idea and very accurate implementation of the game jam theme haha.

One suggestion is that I believe you are making the character jump on action.released which can cause the jump to feel laggy, for such a game I believe it would be better to make it jump on action.pressed :)

Nice. And I agree with the other comment, you can just cheat your way through with the 1s.

Such a beautiful game, clearly compliments your 8 years of experience with Defold :)

What are you using for the opponents AI?

Thanks :), yes the enemy AI cold be better, I did not have the time to tweak it any further as the submission deadline was approaching. I'll work on improving it further :)

great little game, enjoyed the demo. But game is not at all intuitive, in the beginning you're not sure what to do and after about the 2nd or 3rd playthrough I kind of figured out what to do.

Also resource collection is confusing because I would click on the Fe and wood and they would fly away towards the top left of the screen, but the gauges there would not change, later I realized that the gauges for those are at the top right, maybe make the resource icons fly towards their respective gauges?

I know this is a first prototype, and I had fun with it, all the best with the development, I can see this being a great game :)

Just bought your pack. Thanks a lot.

Can you please add a bit more variations for the voice effects. All of the current voice effects have a deep voice (I would imagine for a big laid back guy).

Can you please add more variation for a ew more voice types.

Thank you

Enjoyed playing it.

Thanks :)

Simply beautiful. Just bought this and love it.

Thanks for your work :)

Thanks for the response :)

No worries mate, I'll wait patiently :)

Just bought this. Looks good, but the current version was last released almost 2 years ago.

Are there any plans for an update? Any new features in upcoming versions?

Please let us know. Thanks

Yes, you're right the animation does come out blurry, thats because Unity is compressing the image asset.

If you are using Unity, on the attack animation image, change the Max Size from 2048 to 4096. That will fix the blurry issues.

Congratulations on your asset store release.

Since you already confirmed that you will continue to update Edgar on itch.io as well, then I have no reason to enter this giveaway for the asset store release. I'll continue to use the itch.io version for my projects :)

Wishing you success :)

Great to know that you plan to update on both stores :)

All the best with your Unity launch :)

Great to know. Would people who purchased the asset here on itch.io also get it on the asset store?

And do you plan to continue updating it on both stores or will updates be made available on the unity asset store after its release there?

Thanks

I'm one of your early adopters from Github. This is such an excellent tool. :)

The free version is working fine for me and does everything I want from a dungeon generator, but I bought this asset here only to support your awesome work. :)

Am excited to see what else you add to this, so am also reserving my seat for the full version :)

Thank you for continuously improving it :)

Love the gun animation attack xD

Excellent work.  :)

Love all of your asset packs. And this character generator is something else <3.

Can you please make a similar one for v2 of your dungeon tileset as well :)

great little game. Showing the developer and his reactions is a great idea. I continued playing only to see his reactions inspite of failing many times :)

Thanks my dude :)

Dude, I just LOVE the ending. Is this an original idea? I would like to add this as one of the endings to my game? May I borrow this idea? :)

Great work. Thank you. :)

The walk and jump animation sprite sheets are not aligned, the jump spritesheet starts a 1.0f unit below the walk animation spritesheet. I managed to fix this in code, but just thought I'd mention :)
