This. Thing. Is. Awesome. Sooooo juicy and satisfying. I'm glad I followed you back in GMTK 2020.

thanks!

Haha you’re right it’s bad but not bad enough for this competition. I really tried bad game design but I just couldn‘t get over my pride. I‘m aiming for the last place in ranking now which makes it even worse on a meta level or something I guess :D

Yea unfortunatley WebGL requires SSL to run incoming server requests which I could not provide without paying a fee to „dreamlo.com“ where the leaderboard is stored.

So in order to get the leader board to work you need to download the windows version and it should work just fine. But since it‘s the GBTK I view it as a feature that it‘s broken in WebGL.

Hey, can you please make some animations to the character in order to make him usable? That would be awesome! Besides that: I don't get how to set up the tile set correctly in unity because the size of them have many variations. Is there any tutorial I can follow in order to place them correctly in a tile map? Thank you!

It‘s fine, I‘m on medication right now and do slowly recover from your submission

This one literally gave me Aids. Congrats! Worst submission so far 😄 this is a compliment btw

You're right for the green one but when you look at the wand it has more brown than blue in it. You could make it entirely blueish and the UZI could be in that brownish color. Doesn't have to make so much sense, it's more important that it works for the player to understand instantly :)

you could make the enemies the same color as the weapon that is strong against them

Damn, as Mark played your game on stream we were really hoping that he wouldn‘t play ours next cause it would have looked bad in comparison. The concept and the juice are both so much on point it‘s incredible. I‘m quite sure this one will be at least in the top 100. It‘s one of my favorite games in this Jam.

Yes it‘s made with Unity, I‘m 100% sure as well. The whole polishing looks like the standard Unity Image Effect trickery. But I don‘t think thats a bad thing at all :D

Timecode 14:45 for anyone intetested.

Thanks Jupiter! I was already waiting for this <3

oh yes, it was actually my first time working with multiple cameras and translating mouse input. I’m used to code for Mobile. It was a mess 😄 I should improve on that. Thanks for your nice feedback!

Honestly one of the best games I played so far :D REALLY nicely done

only thing I had to get used to is to switch lanes on opposite direction key. I would have prefered space or something but thats maybe just my personal taste

animations are simple but so sick and the game flow is perfect! I added it to my collection to play it again once in a while. I hope you keep updating it!

I really like the idea. Only small thing I would have changed: The keys are pretty small in the bottom right corner, I would have printed them directly on the modules so that you can look at the player model all the time instead of looking at the corner from time to time. Besides that: Really really nice game, fits the theme perfectly!

Thanks for playing. Your feedback was gold worthy! We already have an updated version with new enemies providing from camping, smart modules etc. and we built an android version also :) But we have to hold it back until voting ends I think  :)

Thank you! You're right, the current goal is just to get higher in score. But the chance to get glitches also increases +1% every 100 points you make up from start (3% chance of getting glitches when killing someone) up to 25%).

Do you have any goal besides high score in mind? We couldn't think of other task for an endless game but I'm thankful for any inspiration!  Thanks again for the great feedback!

Well that interesting. I‘m on mobile right now but I‘ll check out paraslayer later. Thanks for the hint! I love to see how people with similar ideas executed their game

I love the visuals and I‘m really interested in Playing it later. Unfortunately I‘m on mobile right now so this comment is a personal reminder 😄

Wow that‘s a detailed description. I can‘t thank you enough for taking the time to summarize what you have found. Thank you SO SO much! I‘ll get to fix it by tomorrow. But I don‘t know if I‘m allowed to patch it during the voting so I‘ll wait until it‘s ended. In the meantime I added touch controls and ported it to android today 😄

5048? Wow, my personal record is 2880 points and I did the programming:D congrats on that. You‘re Right, I thought about having some faster enemies with higher attention range to prevent camping.

Also I wanted the camera module to fly Directly into enemy hordes. Unfortunately there wasn‘t enough time left. But I‘m glad you liked it enough to spend that much time on ist!

Thank you, wholesome comment! What kind of bugs did you stumble upon? I‘d like to fix them after the jam is over :)

You're right :D But on the other hand: We could have expected some people to have similar ideas. There are over 5.000 submissions. Great job anyway :)

Lovely idea, I love the personality they evolve. Kinda cute.

Btw google chrome seems to predict a virus in the download file. You maybe wanna fix that because I can imagine that a few potential players will be restistant to install it :D

Overall: Keep going! Great job!

Thank you that‘s really flattering! I indeed think of game juice as a simple yet import mechanism to make games more fun instantly. So cool that you mentioned that <3

Damn I've got sweaty palms playing it :D not falling down is SO hard. But well done, I like the game and the theme is kinda similar to ours. Keep going, great game!

I like the mechanic that you go from hunter to hunted, depending on the game state. It reminds me of pacman but that you dont change roles over upgrades but over time. Nice idea, game juice is on point!

Wow thank you so much. This comment made us smile :D

Let's see what your Dino has to offer, and goob job on that highscore!

I had fun playing it! The reversed controls in the second level really fucked with me haha. I'd like to have a spawn point in the second level so that I dont have to start all over again. But maybe thats the concept to make it even harder :D One more thing you could improve: The ghost hunt's me instantly so I dont have the chance to get warm with the controls. Maybe you can make the start plattform a safe area and the ghost will start to hunt you after you moved a bit. That would be more starter friendly. Besides that, great idea!
Edit: Oh and one last thing: Normally 8-Bit music annoys me really fast but you were able to produce a soundtrack that doesn't annoy me at all, even after a few minutes. No shit, thats rare! Good job!

Of course! :)

Wow what an original game. Using the mic to move the ball is genious. Maybe you could add a rythm based mechanism to make it even more fun. So that I have to clap in the beat to get recognized. But on the other side the level design has to be even more on point then. I'm impressed either way. 5* and this one definetly needs more reviews. SO underrated right now!

Smart concept, I really like the idea and the twist in the second and third level. You really showed the potential of this concept. Well done! Sadly it's only that short, I really enjoyed playing it! Sometimes its hard to foresee the enemy actions because they are random, but I guess thats how it works :D I didn't have any moments that felt unfair though. Nice work!

Daaaamn what a smart and original concept. I'm really impressed with the idea you run with. At first I didn't get that you have to manually drag the keys to your actions and did wonder why I couldn't move. But once you get it it's SO fun. Thank you for this game it blew my mind! Never seen that before.

Wow the art style is stunning, great design and the mechanic is really original. It took some time until I understood that its repeating my last actions in the beat next time. Hard to get used to it, I think maybe 3 actions in a row would be easier to handle. But thats the theme maybe haha. I love it anyway! Congrats to your submission.

Similar concept to our game, yet so different. I like how you enrolled the game changes!

Haha why didn‘t I thought of that? Very original concept and the gremlins are so cute. We’ll done!

Quick improvements would be: Coyote Time, slightly higher jumps (it’s hard to get up on plattforms sometimes), a bit less gravity  (the bunnycharacter looks so fluffy and light but falls like a truck) and optionally short wallslides to make Event falling feel fun.

I made some jump n runs in the past, thats what I‘ve learned :)

Thanks! Make sure to include the whole build folder as a .zip folder. That should work fine. And please comment again so I will be notified:)

reminds me of the old pokemon ice cave puzzles. But with a twist by rolling up carpets. When I first played ist I thought the carpet on level 1 was lava because of the color cheme. But once I figured it out I had a blast. So simple, yet satisfying. And I‘m once again impressed how many levels people can accomplish in 48 hours.
Thanks for your game!
